Blunt on Making Time for Family
Blunt, 42, has been open about prioritizing time with her children. In 2023, she revealed on the Table for Two podcast that she took a break from work to spend more time with Hazel and Violet.
âThis year, Iâm not working,â she said at the time. âI worked quite a bit last year, and my oldest baby is nine, so we’re in the last year of single digits.â
Now back on set filming “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” Blunt told Porter she still makes it a priority to be home for bedtime. âOnce my children start to find me repellent, once Mommy doesnât reign supreme, I will do it, but I feel bedtime is this essential anchor,â she explained. âThe 10-minute chats where they tell you everything â you donât want to miss them.â

Krasinski, 45, echoed those sentiments in 2024 on the Pop Culture Moms podcast, saying the couple approaches parenting as a united team.
âThe fact that itâs dad guilt versus mom guilt is the beauty of being married to someone like Em,â he said. âThere is no mom or dad guilt. Itâs us, you know, as a family, weâre all in it together.â
He admitted leaving for work is always tough but added that their children understand. âWhen they see why you go away is because itâs something you love, then that’ll inspire them to do the most important thing, I think, which is whatever they decide to do in their lives, just love it.â
For Krasinski and Blunt, the US Open outing served as a sweet reminder that even with their busy Hollywood schedules, family time always comes first.
