McCary, 38, proudly supported his wife, opting for a classic all-black ensemble and sharing a sweet kiss for the cameras.
The couple, who share a daughter named Louise Jean, 4, shared an affectionate moment while photographers captured the red carpet arrivals.
Stone was joined by her âBugoniaâ co-stars, including Alicia Silverstone and Noomi Rapace.
Silverstone, remembered for her role in âClueless,â appears in the film as Sandy. Jesse Plemons, who also stars in the project, shared that filming action scenes was no easy task.
âItâs very easy when you read in the script: âTeddy is running,ââ he explained as per The Daily Mail. âBut Teddy is running a lot â for pretty much the whole of the third act.â
Yorgos Lanthimos Reflects on New Film
âBugoniaâ is a reimagining of the 2003 Korean film âSave the Green Planet!â directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. While it contains surreal elements, the director explained that he doesnât view it as dystopian. âA lot of it is very reflective of the real world,â he said.
âHumanity is facing a reckoning very soon and people need to choose the right path, otherwise, I donât know how much time we have with everything thatâs happening in the world, with technology, AI, wars, climate change and the denial of all these things.â
Lanthimos last attended the Venice Film Festival in 2023 with âPoor Things,â which won the Golden Lion before earning four Oscars, including best actress for Stone.
Stone Opens Up About Shaving Her Head for Role
Ahead of the filmâs release, Stone revealed she shaved her head for a pivotal scene in âBugonia.â To keep the transformation a secret, she wore wigs during other public appearances, including the New York Film Festival.
âI was bummed I wasnât going out with it, just straight-up bald,â Stone told Vogue on August 11. âI think that would have been fun.â She added, âNo better feeling in the world. The first shower when youâve shaved your head? Oh my god, itâs amazing.â
Stone admitted the dramatic change brought her to tears as it reminded her of when her mother, Krista, lost her hair during breast cancer treatment. âShe actually did something brave. Iâm just shaving my head,â Stone said. But her mom encouraged her, even joking, âIâm so jealous. I want to shave my head again.â
With her latest transformation, Stone proves she remains fearless both on and off screen!
