Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding is just days away, and being the A-list couple that they are, it’s set to be the event of the year.
But this weekend’s nuptials are just one part of their love story (every pun intended).
Tay and Trav first started dating in 2023, during the height of the Eras Tour, and since then have become pop culture royalty.
From Travis singing along to her hits side of stage — and also making an appearance during the Tortured Poets Department segment of the show
— to Taylor showing up at her beau’s football games, they consistently build one another up.
However, Travis isn’t the only Kelce family member to have sung Taylor’s praises since they got together.

Kylie Kelce complimented Taylor’s baking skills
If there’s one thing Taylor Swift is famous for other than her music and love of cats, it’s her baking skills.
From baking a homemade lemon-blueberry sourdough loaf for Radio 1’s Greg James to her viral homemade Pop Tarts, Taylor has admitted that she has a ‘different baking obsession every six months.’
Sister-in-law-to-be Kylie Kelce has also confirmed this, sharing on her podcast, Not Gonna Lie, that there are some ‘well-known bakers in the family.’
Kylie, who is married to Travis’ brother Jason, first spotlighted Donna Kelce,the footballers’ mum. She said that her dinner rolls are a ‘big hit.’
Kylie then said ‘Grandma Mary (who was Jason and Travis’ grandmother) had great chocolate chip cookies.’
As for Taylor? She said that the Grammy winner makes ‘a bangin’ sourdough loaf.’
‘I mean, it’s so good,’ she enthused, before also complimenting the aforementioned Pop Tarts.
Elsewhere, on Jason and Travis’ podcast, New Heights, Kylie said that she is ‘always cheering on Taylor and everything that she does.’
Jason Kelce said Taylor ‘expanded’ Travis’ palate
Continuing with the food theme, Jason admitted that Taylor has managed to elevate Travis’ limited palate over the last few years.
On a New Heights episode, Jason and Kylie discussed how before meeting Taylor, Travis wouldn’t be adventurous with his food.
‘We won’t use this in the episode, but I feel like Taylor’s definitely expanded…’ Jason started, before Travis cut in and said the topic was fine to talk about.
Kylie then interjected: ‘He’s more adventurous with food,’ to which Travis confirmed: ‘Yeah, I’m more of a man when I’m around her and eat foods I haven’t tried before.’
Ed Kelce said Taylor and Travis’ proposal was ‘special’
Ed Kelce, Travis’ father, previously spoke about their internet-breaking engagement, and how his son wanted it to be perfect.
While appearing on The Jimmy and Nath Show last year, Ed revealed that Travis was delaying the proposal until the football season started in early September.
However, it was Ed and Taylor’s dad, Scott Swift, who encouraged Travis to pop the question a month earlier.
Ed recalled: ‘Scott said, “Come on, when are you going to get this done?,”‘ before explaining that Travis wanted to ‘make a big production out of it.’
‘You know, wanted to make it uber special. And I told him the same thing Scott told him, asking her is what’s going to make it special. Not where you do it.’
Of course, we all now know that it wasn’t your regular proposal. Travis literally orchestrated an elaborate, floral-filled setup in the garden of his Missouri home — all while Taylor was inside recording an episode of the New Heights podcast.
After the ep, Travis casually asked her outside for a glass of wine, and asked her to be his wife.
Following the proposal, Ed said that both sides of the family ‘kind of assumed this was going to happen because we’d never seen our kids so happy.’
Donna Kelce said The Tortured Poets Department is some of Taylor’s ‘best work’
Donna Kelce previously admitted that Taylor’s music was never on her radar, and that her era is more Earth, Wind & Fire and Chaka Khan.
However, after the popstar came into her life, she obviously became more invested in Taylor’s music.
During an interview with People in 2024, Donna said that The Tortured Poets Department was some of her ‘best work.’
She said: ‘I listened to the whole album, and I listened to it all morning long when it was released.’
Adding that she was ‘very impressed,’ Donna gushed that Taylor ‘is a very talented woman’ and that she thinks it’s ‘probably her best work.’
Donna Kelce said Travis is ‘happier than I’ve seen him in a long time’
In November 2023, just months into Travis and Taylor’s relationship, Donna told WSJ Magazine that her son was ‘happier than I’ve seen him in a long time.’
Speaking about Travis falling for Taylor, she said: ‘God bless him, he shot for the stars!’
Ed Kelce called Taylor ‘gracious’ at football games
When Taylor first started attending Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs games in late 2023, she was literally swarmed with fans.
While this could likely be annoying — especially if you just want to watch your boyfriend play football — for Taylor, zero privacy is the price of fame.
However, in 2024, Ed Kelce said that the way Taylor deals with these situations is ‘gracious.’
Speaking with the Los Angeles Times in 2024, he said that ‘every game, there’s people crowding outside the front of that suite trying to get a glimpse of Taylor, wanting to meet Taylor.
‘Taylor’s very gracious, but she can’t do everything. And she’s got security guys who don’t want her doing anything. That’s their job and she’s smart enough to know, “I’m paying these guys to keep me safe. I should probably listen to them.”‘
But, Ed said that ‘if it was up to her she’d be out there with everyone who wants her.’
