Big Brother is less than two weeks away and fans are eagerly awaiting the second civilian series of ITV’s revival.
After Celebrity Big Brother came back in March, it’ll soon be time for another civilian series – the 21st overall – and it’s safe to say the reboot of the classic reality show was a hit with viewers this time last year.
A new eye logo has been unveiled ahead of the upcoming launch, and it’s that time of year where we’re all desperate for any hints of how the famous house will look.
Thankfully, the new series will take a lead from CBB and bring back ‘the live element’, rather than focusing on a lot of prerecorded segments, as ITV confirmed in a press release that the Big Brother: Live Stream will return airing seven nights a week on ITVX, going into the early hours.
With that said, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming series.
When does Big Brother start?
Big Brother returns on Sunday, October 6 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
In a change to last year, it appears that the launch won’t be simulcast on ITV1 like it was for the 2023 revival.
Big Brother: Late & Live will return to ITV2 and ITVX as a star-studded panel break down the action each night, as well as giving viewers the evictees’ first live interview.
When will the Big Brother contestants be revealed?
As ever, fans can expect to discover this year’s housemates when Big Brother launches on October 6.
Fans weren’t quite so keen on the pre-recorded elements in 2023, and everyone will be excited to see how things unfold in just a couple of weeks.

A source told The Sun: ‘They brought back the live element for the celebrity version last autumn and it didn’t cause too many problems. But it did bring back the important sense that anything could happen, and it would all be caught on camera.
That’s even more exciting given the fact that this is not the celebrity version, so we really have no idea what kind of characters are going to emerge from the limousines and go into the house.’

Big Brother legend Marcus Bentley is expected to return as narrator, having been the iconic voice of the show for all 20 series to date.
Last year, AJ Odudu and Will Best took over as hosts, following in the footsteps of the likes of Emma Willis and Davina McCall, and they have been confirmed to be returning for the new series.

Last year, lawyer Jordan Sangha, 26, won the show and a £100,000 cash prize after spending six weeks in the Big Brother house.
After an epic wrap party, he returned to social media to thank fans for their support in the most on brand way possible.
He shared his Big Brother promo photo, in which he stands with his arms folded and a cheeky smile on his face, of course sporting a loud, printed shirt.

The show was followed up months later by Celebrity Big Brother, with TV personality David Potts emerging triumphant.
