<p id=”par-1_32″>Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders didn’t have the smoothest road to the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/nfl/?swcfpc=1″>NFL</a>. After <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/sports/?swcfpc=1″>playing in college </a>for the Colorado Buffaloes coached by their father Deion Sanders, the brothers entered the league.</p>
<p id=”par-2_41″>The Sanders family were sure Sheduer was <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/newly-drafted-cleveland-browns-quarterback-shedeur-sanders-dating-singer-shenseea.html/”>going to be drafted in the first round</a>, but he ended up being selected in the fifth round by the Cleveland Browns. And Shilo went undrafted but was later signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. </p>
<p id=”par-3_41″>After vying for the starting job as the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/celebrity-athletes/?swcfpc=1″>Browns quarterback</a>, head coach Kevin Stefanski announced in mid-August that Shadeur would not be taking snaps under center during the regular season as he named 40-year-old veteran Joe Flacco the team’s starter. </p>
<p id=”par-4_43″>As for Shilo, the young defensive back was just hoping for a roster spot. But a rocky preseason concluded with the Bucs waiving him after he was ejected from a preseason game for throwing punches at Buffalo Bills tight end Zach Davidson. </p>

<p id=”par-5_27″>Following the news of Shilo’s release, former NFL star Antonio Brown decided to throw salt in the wounds and mock the rest of the Sanders family. </p>
<p id=”par-6_27″>Brown took to <a href=”https://x.com/AB84/status/1959654279217906166?” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>X.com</a> on Aug. 24, predicting that Shadeur would eventually be cut too, writing: “Whole Sanders fam gonna end up getting cut out the league.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_44″>The ex-Pittsburgh Steelers wideout wasn’t done yet and a few minutes later posted about the NFL not being about to “humble their dad.” Brown concluded his string of harsh tweets with another shot, saying: “At least his pops will retire his Colorado jersey soon.”</p>
<p id=”par-8_16″>Neither of the brothers nor Deion have responded to Brown’s posts yet, but stay tuned. </p>
