If it seems like Stewart is living her life to the fullest, that’s apparently her intention. At the same time, she doesn’t bother herself with worrying about aging.

In November 2023, Stewart talked to AARP about getting older, saying, “Aging isn’t something I think about. How old I am, slowing down, retiring — I just don’t dwell on that.”

“People talk about aging successfully, but I think of it as living gracefully and living to the absolute fullest,” she said. “I’m about trying new things and learning new things every single day, staying fresh, being interesting and interested, staying curious, staying busy, developing new friendships.”

She continued, “I wake up early, early, early — often at 4 a.m. — and read the newspaper to make sure nothing bad has happened overnight. I do Pilates at 6:15 a.m. three times a week. I ride horses. I travel.”
