<p id=”par-1_15″>Lauren from <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/farmer-wants-a-wife-season-3-couples-together-2026.html/”><em>Farmer Wants a Wife</em></a> knows what she wants, and Farmer Brett isn’t it. </p>
<p id=”par-2_60″>In Tuesday’s season 4 premiere of the Fox dating show, Lauren shakes things up in a big way when she asks to switch farmers. The 29-year-old ICU nurse from New York was originally matched Brett Maverick, a 35-year-old ex-bull rider, horse and cattle farmer, and entrepreneur from Tennessee. But apparently, after meeting Brett in person, she just wasn’t feeling it. </p>

<p id=”par-3_31″>In a clip shared by <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DXYG0FOGhVh/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>TMZ</a>, Lauren approaches one of the show’s producers with an unusual request. She wants to chat with Braden Pridemore, a 25-year-old, fifth-generation soybean farmer from Illinois. </p>
<p id=”par-4_33″>“I just want to talk to you about Brett,” she says. “He’s not the right guy for me. And I’m not here to waste my time. I would love to talk to Braden.”</p>
<p id=”par-5_18″>Lauren adds that now that she’s seen Braden in person, she’s intrigued by his personality and his looks. </p>
<p id=”par-6_20″>“This is about me,” she adds. “I’m not here for fame or anything like that. I’m looking for a husband.”</p>
<p id=”par-7_17″>After some back and forth, the producer agrees to arrange a quick meeting between Braden and Lauren. </p>

<p id=”par-8_49″>Lauren knows that she’s shaking up <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/farmer-wants-a-wife-most-successful-reality-dating-show.html/”>the <em>Farmer Wants a Wife </em>format</a> with her request. Plus, there’s no guarantee that after her brief conversation with Braden, he’ll invite her back to his farm. But she’s willing to take a chance in the hopes of getting her happily ever after.</p>
<p id=”par-9_31″>“I decided to follow my heart and my gut,” she says in an interview segment. “Usually my gut is right. I just feel like there might be something special with Braden. </p>
<p id=”par-10_26″>“Love is a risk,” she adds. “And I love love. So, if it does end up working out, I’m just glad that I followed my heart.” </p>
<p id=”par-11_15″>Lauren’s take-charge attitude could win her points with the guy she had her eye on.</p>
<p id=”par-12_27″>“I like it when a girl can be a little bold,” Braden says in a teaser for the new season. “That’s a big green flag for me.”</p>
