Miley Cyrus is officially getting her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fameâon the very street she used to explore with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, as a little girl.
The 32-year-old singer-songwriter was announced as part of the Walk of Fameâs 2026 class during a press conference on Wednesday, July 2. Shortly after the news broke, Cyrus took to Instagram to celebrate the honor and reflect on how far sheâs come.

From Hannah Montana to a Music Icon
In August 2024, Miley was named a Disney Legend at D23, becoming the youngest person ever to receive the honor. Onstage, she became emotional as she remembered the role that launched her career: Hannah Montana.
“I had gotten a taste of what my life could be, and from that moment on, I did not want anything else,” she said of landing the role. “I stand here still proud to have been Hannah Montana.”
In her speech, as published by Elle, she added: “In so many ways, this award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her amazing loyal fans, and to everyone who has made my dream a reality. To quote the legend herself, ‘This is the life.’”
Cyrus got her big break in 2006 on the Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana”, which ran until 2011.
She went on to star in “Hannah Montana: The Movie” and headline the “Best of Both Worlds Tour”. Nearly two decades later, sheâs leaving her markâliterallyâon Hollywood Boulevard. And this time, sheâs not just walking beside the starsâshe is one.
