According to police reports, officers responded to a call about a verbal argument that turned physical between the former reality TV star and a 29-year-old woman. She is believed to be his girlfriend. She was the person who called for help.</p>

<p id=”par-3_50″>According to a report obtained by <a href=”https://www.tmz.com/2026/06/04/john-gotti-grandson-carmine-agnello-arrested-over-alleged-domestic-dispute/”>TMZ</a>, Agnello is accused of slapping and punching the victim before grabbing her and placing his hands around her neck. He is also accused of destroying her cell phone during the melee. She left the scene and was later able to call for police.</p>
<p id=”par-4_38″>Agnello has been charged with third-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief, and criminal obstruction of breathing. He was arraigned on June 4 at Nassau County First District Court in Hempstead. He pleaded not guilty and was released without bail.</p>

<p id=”par-6_99″>While Agnello pleaded guilty, he did ask for leniency in his sentence, with his mother, Victoria Gotti, asking a judge to consider a home confinement sentence. Victoria Gotti is living with chronic kidney disease and is in need of a transplant. While she has three sons and three living siblings, only Carmine is said to be a suitable donor. He was set to donate his kidney to his mother around the time of his sentencing. Victoria stated that she was uncomfortable with the idea of him recuperating behind bars. It is unclear where the surgery stands at the moment.</p>
