Fran Drescher just proved that some fashion statements are truly timeless.
âThe Nannyâ alum slipped into a full-on leopard-print ensemble recently â the same bold aesthetic her character Fran Fine was known for â marking the moment as a stylish nod to her â90s sitcom heyday.
The 68-year-old wowed fans with her appearance while receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, September 30.
Drescherâs return to the legendary print turned heads online, with fans lauding the actress for embracing her classic look with confidence.
“Love that you wore leopard print lol,” one fan wrote.
Many pointed out that the leopard-print proofed just how enduring her style remains, decades after âThe Nannyâ first aired.
Though the show ended in 1999, its visual identityâcomplete with daring patterns, bold silhouettes, and sparkleâstill looms large in fashion conversations.
Drescher Receives Her Star With Familar Faces
In true sitcom style, the celebration featured a surprise âfamilyâ reunion: key cast members from âThe Nannyâ turned out to pay tribute to their on-screen mother. Â
Among those in attendance were Nicholle Tom (who played Maggie Sheffield) and Madeline Zima (who portrayed Gracie).
Tom offered heartfelt remarks, recalling how Drescher mentored her through her teenage years and praising her authenticity and strength, according to PEOPLE.
âShe was always honest with me,â she began. âShe mentored me through my childhood â I mean, my major growing up years, from 14 to 21.”
Tom continued, âFran, I love you. I’ve always looked up to you, even though I had to wear flats. You’re my mentor and I just love you. Congratulations!”

Drescher told Entertainment Tonight how happy she was to have the date fall on her birthday.
âWell, you know, they gave me a few dates to choose from, and I saw September 30. I said, âOh, it’s got to be that day,ââ she gushed.
She continued, âSo, I’m really delighted. I mean, this just makes it so momentous.â
