<p id=”par-5_68″>Broomfield knows exactly what it takes to go out on the court and give your all in a match as she is an athlete herself and has played the sport. She made her WTA Tour debut in 2014 at the Coupe Banque Nationale. While at UCLA, Broomfield and her doubles partner, Gabby Andrews, won the 2019 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Championship doubles event after defeating Kate Fahey and Brienne Minor of the Michigan Wolverines. </p>
<p id=”par-6_12″>Broomfield has reached No. 680 in the PIF WTA Rankings. </p>
<p id=”par-7_72″>“It’s nice to come home and vent and be like, ‘Man, the match, what do you think?’ Because it’s hard,” Tiafoe explained. “This sport, it’s hard to really understand it if you’re not really in it. And obviously the lifestyle. So she’s been critical not only for my career, but for my life. She’s so solid. She’s been there for me for so many years, and happy to have her, very important.”</p>

<p id=”par-8_52″>Broomfield went viral a few years back when a video of her showing her support for Tiafoe at the 2024 U.S. Open circulated on social media. As she watched the match, she couldn’t sit still in her seat and was going through an array of emotions as Tiafoe played against Ben Shelton.</p>
<p id=”par-9_30″>But the 2022 U.S. Open was the most special for her man when he defeated one of the sport’s GOATs, Rafael Nadal, snapping Nadal’s 22-match Grand Slam winning streak. </p>
<p id=”par-10_59″>“That two-week period completely changed his life, changed my life, changed his whole family’s life,” <a href=”https://www.atptour.com/en/news/tiafoe-netflix-break-point-broomfield” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Broomfield recalled</a>. “It was magical. I think when people actually understand what it took for him to actually get there financially, and just his story, I think people understand that it was more than just a tennis match. It’s literally a dream come true.”</p>
