<p id=”par-4_52″>For the 2026 Met Gala “Costume Art” theme, Gabrielle Union rocked a custom sheer, cocoa-colored, crystal-embellished halter gown designed by Michael Kors. Her dress was inspired by artist Kwame Brathwaite and featured a cutout design with more than 100,000 crystals. The actress completed her look with a diamond Tiffany & Co. necklace.</p>
<p id=”par-5_47″>Dutta told Showbiz Cheat Sheet, “Schlumberger pieces are instantly recognizable if you know Tiffany & Co. The mix of gold and diamonds, especially in that collar style, is something the house has done for decades. It is as much about design history as it is the materials.”</p>

<p id=”par-6_32″>Keke Palmer wore a red draped dress with a long train, designed by Prabal Gurung, to the gala. She highlighted her look with a collar-style necklace from Wempe, featuring 211 carats and over 1,200 diamonds. </p>
<p id=”par-7_47″>“There is a lot going on here once you look closely,” Dutta said. “Over 200 carats of diamonds set into a collar shape is not straightforward, and the fact that it took over 300 hours to make gives you an idea of the level of work involved.”</p>

She donned the dress with a Bulgari Vimini high jewelry necklace that was hard not to notice. The piece featured 18k yellow gold and 35.25 carats of pavé-set diamonds.</p>
<p id=”par-9_41″>According to Dutta, “This may look simple compared to some of the others, but it still carries that Bulgari identity. The laurel style design keeps it quite clean, so the focus stays on the overall shape rather than one dominant stone.”</p>

<p id=”par-11_44″>“A sapphire of over 50 carats immediately puts this into a different category,” Dutta noted. “Bulgari has always leaned into bold colour, and this is a good example of that. Once you add a full suite around it, the overall value climbs quite quickly.”</p>
