Georgia Harrison has revealed she made a small blip while receiving her MBE, which left the Prince of Wales cackling.
The former Love Island star, 31, was honoured with a Member of the British Empire award earlier this year for her work tackling revenge pornography and tackling cyber crime.
The star made history as the first contestant from the hit ITV reality show to receive this type of honour, and was pregnant with her newborn daughter Sahara while receiving the award at Windsor Castle.
She revealed to OK Magazine that she made the future King laugh as she received the award because she was heavily pregnant while curtseying.
‘I’m such a fan, so when I found out it was William giving me the MBE, I was so happy,’ she said.
‘But I ended up doing an over-the-top theatrical curtsy, and almost hit the deck. I was this huge pregnant person in heels, arms spread-eagled and trying not to topple over. William cracked up and my family couldn’t believe it.’
She added that she spoke to the Prince about her work, and was surprised to learn he was so familiar with her work.
‘I was shocked because he’d followed a lot of my experiences and said how brave I was,’ she said.
‘To speak to one of the most important people on Earth about changing the world is an experience I’ll never forget.’
The star previously revealed the story on her social media saying she nearly fell: ‘Receiving my MBE at Windsor castle from Prince William 8 1/2 months pregnant – a moment I will remember for the rest of my life 👑💂♀️🤴
I can’t wait for us to show our child this and tell him or her that they technically met Prince William! In true Georgia fashion I curtseyed a little too hard and almost hit the deck… at least the future king found it amusing 😆🤣’
Speaking to OK, she joked that she hoped she’d gone into labour at the castle: ‘I was just trying not to give birth at Windsor Castle. Although part of me sort of wanted to, just for the drama of it – and maybe the Insta content!’
Georgia actually gave birth to her first child, Sahara Jean Stacey a few weeks later on October 30. She welcomed her daughter with her partner Jack Stacey, who she met in 2024.
Before this she starred in Love Island: All Stars in January 2024 and struck up a relationship with Anton Danyluk, who she split with in April 2024.
Georgia became a campaigner after her ex, Stephen Bear, uploaded an intimate video of the pair on OnlyFans.
He was sentenced to 21 months (cut down to 11 months) in prison after he was found guilty of disclosing private sexual photographs and films from a sex video, which was made without her consent.
HMP Brixton, for his revenge porn sentence after sharing the explicit videos, he was also required to pay Harrison over £200,000 for breach of privacy.
Bear was a TV personality and convicted sex offender, best known for Shipwrecked, Ex On The Beach and Celebrity Big Brother. The Daily Mail reports that he is now an adult content creator on OnlyFans.
