Georgia Toffolo has revealed she and husband James Watt have £0 in their shared bank account despite him being worth £250,000,000.

Georgia, also known as Toff, is best known for appearing on Made in Chelsea and winning I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2017.

Last month she also announced she’d tied the knot with Brewdog co-founder James, 42, around two years after they first met.

After co-founding BrewDog in 2007, James has become a multi-millionaire.

However, this week Georgia shut down claims she was with him because of his staggering wealth.

In an Instagram Q&A, the reality star was asked by one follower: ‘Are you with James for his money?’

Hitting back at suggestions she’s a gold digger; she posted a screenshot of their current account balance of £0.

‘Going off the state of our joint bank account, on balance I would say probably not,’ she said.

She then added: ‘What do you think?’

The couple, who were set up on a blind date in the summer of 2023, got engaged in October after he proposed with an eight-carat triple-diamond studded band estimated to be worth £200,000 during a romantic getaway in Greece for her 30th birthday.

Also, in the Q&A, Georgia spoke about their first meeting.

‘James and I were actually set up on a blind date by a founder James had invested in. Well, it was blind on one side…I had obviously googled him before. But jokes aside I am forever grateful to him for setting us up,’ she wrote.

She also explained that she hadn’t taken her husband’s surname but was ‘in two minds about the whole thing’.

‘I think my surname is such a big part of my identity so I feel quite wedded to it but at the same time I’m quite traditional and if we have children one day they will 100% have James’ surname, so it might be a bit weird if I don’t,’ she shared.

‘But for now, from a work and personal perspective Toff is a really big part of me and to be really frank I can’t be bothered with all of the admin.’

Georgia was previously engaged to George Cottrell, a senior advisor to Nigel Farage. They began dating in 2019 and had an on-again-off-again relationship.

Meanwhile James was married to illustrator Johanna Basford from 2013 until 2020.

Two years later he admitted to a ‘brief, amicable relationship with a team member’ during a difficult period of his marriage.

Last year James announced that 17 years after co-founding BrewDog, he was stepping down as boss.
