Gladiators’ Giant has revealed that it’s a ‘very, very exciting time’ for his TV career as he moves on from the BBC show that made him famous.

Jamie Biggs, aka Giant, alleges that he was axed from the Saturday night programme because the BBC didn’t approve of his girlfriend’s job as an OnlyFans model.

The 40-year-old had been on Gladiators since it rebooted in January 2024, but Jamie claims that he was let go after making it clear he wanted to go public about his relationship with Taylor Ryan, 28.

Despite no longer being part of the sports entertainment show, he says he’s got plans to stay on screen.

Giant told The Sun that ‘TV is something that I would very much like to continue’.

He went on: ‘Having the flexibility and the ability to speak about more taboo subjects is something that moving forward, perhaps, can now happen.’

Although he didn’t give specifics, he did say: ‘There’s lot of things in the pipeline at the minute.

‘It’s actually a very, very exciting time and I’m definitely looking forward to the future. I can’t divulge any information on particular shows or events, situations just yet.’

He won’t, however, be following in the footsteps of girlfriend Taylor and joining the paid-for content platform.

Joking about his inclusion in the videos, he told The Sun he’d leave that to the professionals: ‘The performance anxiety would be too much.’

Speaking to Metro about Taylor’s job, he said: ‘Taylor is entitled to her private life. We’re doing nothing wrong.’

Defending his girlfriend, he said: ‘OnlyFans is just one of the things that Taylor does, [it is] a very small part of who she is.’

The bodybuilder and TV personality split from his wife, Katie Christian, in November last year.

Katie regularly shares content about being newly single – recently she posted a video where she claimed she was ‘struggling with how easily something real gets replaced by something new and then held up like it carries the same weight.’
