Twitch streamer DiveJilly has moved out (Twitter)
One of Twitch’s biggest stars, MoonMoon, has been caught in a love triangle, including alleged lying and the potential end of a 15-year marriage.
There have been a number of breakups between streamers recently, including long-term relationships Erobb and Britt, Nmplol and Malena, and Pokimane and her mystery partner from earlier this summer.
Now another one appears to have ended as, although MoonMoon was already separated from his partner, he has apparently wrecked the marriage of another streamer, DivaJilly, who is his pretend girlfriend in a GTA role-playing server.
This all came to light when DivaJilly’s husband leaked her sexually suggestive messages with MoonMoon on social media.
‘Hey everyone, there’s not really an easy way to say this, but Jillian ‘DivaJilly,’ my wife of 15 years, and the role-player of Siobhan on Nopixel GTA RP [role-playing], and the love of my life, has apparently been cheating on me for months with the Twitch streamer MoonMoon,’ said KingCaffeine on Twitter.
The husband, and former Heroes Of The Storm pro, added images of their suggestive messages, and added:
‘It really saddens me that it came to this after months of assuring me it was all ‘RP.’ I was sold the lie that it was just about sex positivity and girl bossing, when in reality they were just living out their secret fantasies while both being married.’
MoonMoon, who has 1.2 million followers on Twitch, later responded to the accusation, revealing that he has been separated from his wife for two months and said he was told ‘multiple times’ by DivaJilly that she was in an ‘open relationship’.
KingCaffeine has made it clear on Twitter that they were not in an open relationship, after saying he found out about them after looking at her messages when she hadn’t replied to him.
DivaJilly recently responded to the allegations too, saying, ‘I’ll do a stream addressing the drama in a couple days, as soon as I’m settled at my mom’s. But trust: I keep receipts.’
Unsurprisingly, the debacle made its way other streamers, who were keen to voice their opinions on it.
‘It’s really f****** funny for me to see he cheated,’ Asmongold said, adding:
‘Never again do I wanna hear about how you’re ‘too good’ for sponsors, you’re ‘too good’ for anything. You cheated on your f****** wife and your kid.’
xQc also commented on it during his stream, putting most of the blame on DivaJilly for misleading MoonMoon, and added, ‘The grandstanders are getting exposed every day.’
Quin69 said he thought something was up when he watched their GTA streams, saying, ‘I tuned into MoonMoon too, for like 10 minutes, bro, and I was like this is weird vibes, but he is just straight up hitting on this chick. But he’s got a wife right, and a kid?’
What reception DivaJilly, who has 55,000 followers on Twitch, will get when she returns remains to be seen.
One possible outcome is even more animosity from fellow streamers and fans, similar to when Dr Disrespect made his comeback earlier this month after his ‘sexting’ scandal.
Whatever happens though, it looks like her marriage of 15 years with KingCaffeine may have come to an abrupt end.
