More GTA 6 gameplay has leaked and it suggest the culprits responsible have somehow acquired a copy of the game before its November launch.
Yesterday, multiple clips of GTA 6 gameplay leaked online, which a group of hackers called Cyberleeks have claimed responsibility for as a means of punishing Rockstar’s decision to only release the game digitally.
Rockstar has essentially confirmed the leaks are legitimate as it has moved to scrub the clips off the internet though Cyberleeks threatened to keep posting more over the coming days.
Sure enough, they’ve kept to their word and have dropped two more clips since yesterday, including one that appears to confirm that they have access to a playable build of GTA 6.
Obviously, we will not be sharing any footage or screenshots ourselves, but the first clip has already been struck down regardless. According to those who were able to view it beforehand, it reportedly demonstrated knife combat similar to Red Dead Redemption 2 and gameplay of protagonist Jason killing a cop and stealing his car.
It’s the second clip that’s more notable, even though it’s very short and mostly consists of footage of a plane flying above a city. At the very end, it shifts to gameplay of Jason firing a gun at a wall, and the bullet holes spell out the word ‘leek.’

Unless this is the work of generative AI (which it doesn’t really look like), this means Cyberleeks has access to a build of the game, although how they could have acquired it remains a mystery.
Regardless, we’ve never seen anything like this for any other game and there will be dire ramifications within Rockstar for even an early build of GTA 6 to have made its way into people’s hands.
Just like the previous clips, this one also advertises a crypto currency, and it is alleged that Cyberleeks’ website temporarily held a poll for what GTA 6 content it should leak next, requesting that people vote by donating money.
One of the options was for footage of a plane at daytime, which is precisely what’s featured in the newest leak, and there’s every chance another clip will be shared before the end of the day.
Between illegally acquiring GTA 6 and charging money for these leaks, the people behind Cyberleeks will be in serious legal trouble if Rockstar or parent company Take-Two manages to identify them.
All this comes right before Rockstar plans to share official information via a Netflix exclusive preview scheduled to air next week on August 27.
The exact contents are unknown, but it’s rumoured that the preview will be roughly an hour long and span three episodes, so there could be a lot of new details shared.
