Rockstar’s Extended Look for GTA 6 will feature multiple episodes according to reports, but there’s no official confirmation yet.
After months of speculation, Rockstar is set to showcase the next trailer for GTA 6 via a ‘Extended Look’ on Netflix later this month.
It’s unclear what this Extended Look will involve, although it’s expected to include actual gameplay footage for the first time. Considering Rockstar’s partnership with Netflix though, there’s a chance it could be something grander in scope.
A recent post on the GTA 6 subreddit supports this idea, and suggests the upcoming special could actually span three episodes in total.
The post, which has since been deleted, showed a screenshot of the Netflix page for the GTA 6 Extended Look in Portugal.
As reported by Game Rant, the page had faded listings of three episodes with various running times: the first ran for 23 minutes and 37 seconds, the second was 24 minutes and 41 seconds, while the third episode was 18 minutes and 29 seconds.

The idea makes sense in theory, especially as Netflix would want to get the most out of the collaboration, but there are reasons to doubt its legitimacy. These listings have not popped up on any other Netflix page around the world, they’ve been removed from the Portugal listing, and some have speculated (as always these days) that the leak could have been concocted by AI.
The only thing we do know is that the Extended Look will premiere August 27 at 8pm BST on Netflix, before it arrives on August 28 at 2am on YouTube. That gives Netflix an exclusive window of six hours, so it’s possible it could span multiple episodes – especially if they follow the running times listed above and the whole thing lasts roughly an hour in total.
So while you should take this supposed leak with a large pinch of salt, it wouldn’t be surprising if the GTA 6 Extended Look is broken down into multiple chunks.
Based on the verbiage of Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick, more episodes could come later. Zelnick recently said that ‘there’s appetisers, main course, and dessert to follow’ after the Netflix event when it comes to GTA 6 announcements.
It’s unclear what he’s referring to exactly, but it could imply more Netflix showcases to come. His comments may even be a reference to the fact there are three episodes.
GTA 6 is set to launch across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026.
