Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen made their first public appearance as new parents while attending a recent wedding in California. The couple, who welcomed their first child earlier this month, shared details about the outing and how life has changed since becoming a family of three.
Steinfeld, 29, and Allen, 29, stepped out for the wedding of their friends, reigning Super Bowl Champ Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Sam Darnold, and Katie Hoofnagle in San Diego.

Steinfeld shared moments from the event in her Beau Society Substack newsletter on April 17, reflecting on attending a wedding as newlyweds and new parents.
âWeâre getting into the swing of wedding season, huh??â she wrote. âA few weekends ago, we went to a wedding for our close friends, Sam Darnold and Katie Hoofnagle. This was our first time attending a wedding as husband and wife (and mom and dad!), and everything hit differently.â
She added, âThe love in the air felt palpable and reminiscent. And I actually donât think thereâs anything more fun than being at a wedding with your husband! 10/10 recommend.â
Photos from the event showed the couple dressed in coordinating black outfits. Steinfeld wore a black gown with a blazer, while Allen opted for a tuxedo paired with sunglasses. In one image by photographer Stephanie Lynn, Allen placed a hand on Steinfeldâs back while kissing her forehead.
The outing came just weeks after the couple announced the birth of their daughter.
âOur baby girl has arrived!!â they shared in a joint message on Steinfeldâs newsletter on April 2. âWeâre feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.â
Steinfeld also shared a personal update the following day.
âTo say we are unbelievably happy and in love with this baby girl would be an understatement,â she wrote. âIâm soaking in the newborn bliss.â

Allen has also spoken about how becoming a father has impacted him as he prepares for the upcoming NFL season.
During an April 20 press conference, he said the experience has already shifted his perspective.
âIt definitely changes [your] mindset a little bit,â Allen said. âI’m very excited. I do think this is going to be the best version of myself in all aspectsâin my professional career and my personal life. It’s such a blessing.â
He also praised Steinfeld for her support during this time.
âI’ve got an absolute rockstar of a wife,â he said, âthat’s doing so many things right now and allowing me to be here right now and be with my teammates. So yes, special times.â
Allen noted that his recovery from a recent foot procedure is progressing well, but he emphasized that becoming a parent has been the most significant development in his life.
