Tom Felton is charging fans upward from £744 for a 1.13 minute shout out video, according to Cameo.

The 37-year-old, who played antagonist Draco Malfoy in all seven films of the wizarding franchise, has upped the fee since Metro revealed he was charging £200 in 2020.

In February 2024, Tom was charging £544 for videos which averaged at 2.22 minutes long.

While his average video length – calculated by the site – has almost halved, this fee appears to have risen with more than just inflation…

In recent years he and other celebrities have signed up to speak directly to fans on the video shout-out site Cameo, with other Potter actors including Bonnie Wright and Miriam Margolyes doing the same.

Except where national treasure Miriam charges £97 – down from £134 last year – for a personalised message, Felton is charging almost five times that rate. Bonnie, who played Ginny Weasley, is the third most expensive Harry Potter cast member at her £149 rate, with Vincent Crabbe actor Jamie Waylett charging the same.

While it’s not clear when Felton upped the price to this latest eye-watering figure, fans have left reviews as recently as May 2025 – and he last posted a video today at 10.15am.

‘I am here to engage with all of you in whatever way this beautiful app allows us to, any shout outs, any birthdays, any weddings, and what not that you want me to spoil with my Draco-esque tones then I would be more than happy to oblige,’ Felton tells potential buyers in his introductory video on the site.

We’re sure you would be happy to oblige, Tom, with that amount of cash at stake!

Despite what feels like an absolute rip off, some deep-pocketed fans seemed happy with the result.

One anonymous fan wrote: ‘Thank you, dear Tom! Disk with your video is going to fly across the ocean as a birthday present. Thank you very much!’

‘Contagious smile & positive words really helped a girl out! Experiencing some extreme nerves & hearing from you made it all the better! You’re the greatest Tom!’ said another.

However, some brought up whether the content was worth such a high sum.

‘Great video. Could be a little longer considering the price tag. Great guy. Still worth it though. She loved it,’ said another anonymous poster.

This comes after Tom announced he would be reprising the role of Draco Malfoy in the Broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

He is set to join the cast at New York’s Lyric Theatre beginning November 11 for a strictly limited 19-week engagement.

Tom’s net worth is reportedly around the £10million mark according to Celebrity Net Worth, and it came to light in 2022 that he was said to have been paid £14,000,000 for only 31 minutes of screen time across all of the eight Harry Potter films.

However, according to the Express Felton revealed to the Daily Mail in 2010 that he ran into financial trouble after he ‘wasted’ his cash.

Tom is said to have splashed out on luxury cars, mostly BMWs, despite his mother warning him that he would lose money on them.

‘There was a scary two years where it was madness because I was really in trouble with the taxman. I had been working for eight years and all I had to show for it was this horrible debt,’ he said.

‘At one point we had the bailiff at the door.’

Thankfully, Tom said he ‘managed to get out of the situation’, confessing it was a result of him ‘burying his head in the sand.’

‘I’ve spent the past year and a half with an accountant, trying to understand VAT, DVD residuals and things like that,’ he added at the time.

‘I’ve had to really grow up.’
