Former This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby will host her own This Morning-style show on YouTube, marking the start of a new chapter.
Holly, 45, bid a ‘difficult goodbye’ to the ITV show amidst a plot by Gavin Plumb to kidnap, rape, and murder her.
Her departure also came after her longstanding co-star Philip Schofield quit after admitting he had been having an affair with a runner.
Since then, the presenter has taken on new gigs including Celebrity Bear Hunt for Netflix and the reboot of You Bet! alongside Stephen Mulhern. The former was axed after its first season and You Bet! On Tour continued with Stephen at the helm – but there are no plans for any new series, an ITV spokesperson told Metro.
Holly also continued presenting Dancing on Ice until the show concluded in March 2025. The show was taken off-air by ITV after 19 years, starting in 2006 with Holly and Philip as presenters.

Now, The Sun has confirmed that Holly will launch her own YouTube channel where she’ll present a magazine show. An insider said: ‘This is a massive game-changer for Holly and the wider industry because this show and her channel will be a threat to the main broadcasters, particularly This Morning and ITV.’
They called it the ‘perfect vehicle’ for advertisers looking to ‘turn away fromtraditional terrestrial telly’.
‘And if any of the big-name retailers could cherry-pick a presenter who’s an ideal figure to front it, then it is surely Holly,’ they added.
YouTube now beats the BBC on audience reach in the UK, according to figures from the independent ratings body Barb.
And Holly wouldn’t be the first TV presenter to head on over to the social platform to launch their own channel.
Her pals Ant and Dec have 28.5k subscribers on the site and post recordings of their podcast and other projects for viewers to watch.
Celebrity chef and TV host Gordon Ramsay boasts 21.9m subscribers on his channel where he deposits an array of content from cooking videos to clips from his various shows.
Piers Morgan famously shifted his attention to the platform, where he hosts Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Holly’s own social media following isn’t to be sniffed at, with 8.1million followers on Instagram.
She posts regular lifestyle content featuring her home, pets and family.
The 45-year-old is married to Dan Baldwin, who runs the production company Hungry Bear. It produces shows like Gladiators, Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel, and Bradley and Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad.
Metro has reached out to Holly Willoughby’s representatives for comment.
