Holly Willoughby has passionately declared that her big gripe with the porn industry is how women’s ‘fannies’ are portrayed.
The former This Morning star, 45, is striking out on her own after launching her own YouTube show featuring intimate sit-down interviews with stars like Stanley Tucci, the Spice Girls and, in her latest offering, OnlyFans content creator Lily Phillips.
The 24-year-old NSFW social media influencer made a name for herself after a stunt in which she slept with 101 men in a day and has since continued to build her lucrative career in the world of sex work.
She is also, however, a controversial figure, with people decrying her as a poor role model for young women and contributing to an exploitative industry.
During a candid chat with the ITV star on her show, Holly Willoughby Together, she opened up about her fairly run-of-the-mill life growing up in Derbyshire, her fascination with the adult industry from a young age and trying to create the perfect body.
Talking about her relationship with her naked form since entering the industry, she shared that she had a ‘designer vagina’, which can involve a labiaplasty (reducing the size of the labia minora) that costs up to £4,000 according to the NHS website.
Phillips added that she ‘regretted [the surgery] slightly’ as she could have been ‘that representation in the adult industry for the big labia community’.
When asked by Willoughby why she felt she had to do it, Phillips explained she had it done for ‘personal’ reasons when she started OnlyFans at just 19, it was her ‘own insecurity’ and even added ‘watching porn’ could have influenced her.
‘This is the problem, I think because… women watching porn are only seeing certain vaginas and vulvas and they’re going: “Oh they’re all meant to be beautiful”… then you see your own and you’re like “Oh my gosh”,’ when looking at a little ‘extra skin’.
‘It’s actually what women’s bodies look like. My big issue with porn is where I just go: “Please just show normal fannies”‘
Phillips was in hard agreement, adding that she ‘tries to be open and honest’ about her surgery with her audience, which Willoughby appreciated.
Elsewhere in the chat, they touched on just how smelly ‘sex marathons’ can get, Phillips’ ‘friendship’ with Bonnie Blue and the downsides to working in the adult industry riddled with troubles.
The ex-Dancing on Ice host has been on a roll with wild proclamations. In the last episode, she divulged her most embarrassing live TV moment.
Recreating the moment in the studio, she reminisced on the time she was presenting Saturday morning children’s TV in the early 00s when her vest top popped open and left her boob spilling out while dancing with hypnotised (literally) boy band Blue.
She joked that the debacle landed her on page 3 of The Sun.
