Perhaps the most brutal detail yet has emerged from Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding.

The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham launched a brutal takedown of his parents in a statement shared on social media in January, in which he accused them of ‘controlling’ him and ‘trying to ruin’ his relationship with his wife.

He also claimed that his mother ‘hijacked’ his and Nicola’s first dance at their 2022 wedding, and ‘danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone.’

There was also reportedly an additional conflict over Victoria not designing the bride’s dress.

Now, a new tidbit about the wedding day may be the most cringe-inducing yet.

The Cut has reported that a guest claimed that the rabbi conducting the ceremony called Brooklyn ‘David’ as the couple stood on the altar.

They continued, saying that the rabbi stuttered and asked for forgiveness, explaining the moment by saying he, ‘was a soccer fan.’

The insider also alleged that the rabbi made the same mistake a second time before the vows were completed.

The publication noted: ‘It was, as one witness described it, uncomfortably Oedipal.’

Brooklyn has already detailed other parts of the wedding drama, writing in his original post: ‘My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.

‘Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children.’

He continued: ‘They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since.

‘During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me “evil” because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola’s Naunni at our table, because they both didn’t have their husbands. Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours.

‘The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was “not blood” and “not family”. Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.’

The news of the name debacle comes after reports that Brooklyn is considering a new attempt to step out of his Dad’s shadow – a TV series.

An American streamer is said to have contacted the hot sauce entrepreneur, with his management team ‘in early talks with production heads at Hulu’.

‘Brooklyn is keen. Alongside documenting his culinary business venture, Hulu bosses will hope he will open up about the bombshell rift with his parents,’ a source told The Sun.

‘This isn’t just any platform. Hulu which is owned by Disney is home to global smash hits like The Kardashians.

‘They’d be instantly propelled firmly into the big leagues and in direct competition with Netflix, which, of course, has its own Beckham ties having run authored documentaries by both of his parents.’

They went on to share that Brooklyn and Nicola had already ‘been offered big money interviews before but turned them all down’.

‘When they do decide to speak, it will be on their own terms,’ they continued. ‘They also want to make it clear they are not being controlled by the Peltz family and that they make their own decisions.’
