An I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star has teased a reunion is on its way, weeks after two members of the cast were embroiled in a scandal.

Last month, married McFly singer Danny Jones, 38, was caught appearing to kiss Love Island star Maura Higgins, 34, at a Brits afterparty.

The photos quickly went viral, with Danny later issuing an apology and saying sorry to his wife and family for ‘putting them in this situation’.

Maura, who was previously dating Pete Wicks, has yet to speak out on the situation, but has been rumoured to be making her TV comeback and been spotted partying with Hollywood stars.

As they attempt to move on from the scandal, with reports claiming Danny and his wife Georgia Horsley, who share a son together, are working things through as she gave him a ‘second chance’, it’s been revealed Maura and Danny may be about to face an awkward reunion.

Radio star Dean McCullough who joined Danny and Maura in the jungle alongside Oti Mabuse and Coleen Rooney, shared the I’m A Celebrity WhatsApp group is still going strong and are hoping to head on a ‘luxurious holiday’ for a reunion.

He told The Sun: ‘No, no one’s left. Everyone’s in it. Everyone’s chatting away.’

The 32-year-old joked that some mornings messages in the chat include Coleen on the school run with her children, while ‘the other day [Reverend Richard Coles] sent us a picture of him at 10 o’clock in the morning in full fancy dress. He was dressed as a nun’.

Though he confirmed the cast had not reunited yet, he added: ‘We have a poll running in the group chat about a reunion date.’

Dean went on to tease: ‘A few of us are working together soon, which is very, very exciting.’

He added: ‘We are, let’s just say having a reunion, and we’re going to be having a bit more of a luxurious holiday this time.’

Confirming ‘it’s a work thing’, Dean said only a few of the cast have been asked to work on the secret project, but didn’t hint who would be involved, meaning Danny and Maura may be about to reunite.

This comes after Maura’s TV return has been revealed to be on the BBC’s reboot of game show Blankety Blank.

She reportedly appears as a contestant on the programme hosted by Bradley Walsh and filmed her episode at Maidstone Studios in Kent last month.

A source previously told The Sun: ‘Since that unfortunate incident, Maura’s kept to modelling jobs and posting glossy social media videos, but this will be her first TV appearance.

‘She’s opening herself up to ribbing and scrutiny, but the BBC has ensured the drunken kiss stays off-limits because it’s a family show.’

In an Instagram story last month, Danny broke his silence on the ‘kiss’, writing: ‘Sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me.

‘I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.

‘I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.’
