An I’m A Celebrity star has reportedly quit the show on medical grounds just days before the final episode was filmed.

The news is said to have come as a total shock to the camp, who were left in floods of tears.

While it is not yet known who has left, an emotional campmate is believed to gather everybody round to share the news.

This comes after Gemma Collins and David Haye’s shock double elimination in last night’s episode.

The campmate supposedly tells the group: ‘I’ve just got something to tell you all. I didn’t feel very well this morning… and the medics have advised I can’t return to camp,’ according to the Mirror.

With tears in their eyes, the campmate the continues by saying: ‘I don’t want to go. I’m absolutely gutted. I wanted to finish.’

Each of the campmates can then be seen hugging the star before they exit the show.

Last week, Adam Thomas took to social media to reveal that David ‘broke’ him, after fans accused the boxer of bullying the Waterloo Road actor, 37.

After Adam, who has been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis, refused to do a Bushtucker Trial, claiming he felt unwell and dehydrated, David refused to let it go and told him: ‘I don’t like guys who are a bit useless.’

Taking to social media, fans described David’s comments as ‘infuriating’.

Reflecting on his struggles in camp, Adam then issued a statement where he admitted that the heavyweight ‘broke’ him to his lowest during the experience.

In a touching post, he confessed that he thought the feisty atmosphere in camp was ‘his fault’, but he has since realised that wasn’t the case.

The latest departure now means that eight contestants will be left fighting for the title in the live final on Friday.

They will take part in a trial called Rancid Run which sees them playing in pairs.

There are also expected to be more evictions throughout the week until there is a final four at the end.
