I’m A Celebrity star AngryGinge has revealed that his mum’s house burned down the morning of his Soccer Aid triumph.

The YouTuber, real name Morgan Sam Lee Burtwistle, 24, shared the news on Instagram stories when he posted a video of the burned house.

‘As you can tell,’ he said. ‘The morning of Soccer Aid, I get a phone call, mum’s house has burnt down.

‘This is what we are dealing with now, obviously, there will be more updates as we go, but at the minute, I mean yeah’.

Seemingly lost for words, the streamer said, ‘This isn’t even the worst of the worst’ before promising updates in the future.

AngryGinge has since confirmed his mum is going to come live with him while they get her house fixed up.

The YouTuber has made no secret of his close relationship with his mum, Michelle.

During his time in the I’m A Celeb Jungle, he admitted to being homesick and missing his mum.

A source even told The Sun that ‘Ginge was a mummy’s boy at heart.’

‘He puts her first and foremost in his life and feels he wants to repay her for all she sacrificed for him,’ they continued.

‘His childhood was rocky, and they didn’t have much. For Ginge, being on I’m a Celeb provides the opportunity to give his mum everything she could ever want. He’s doing it for her.’

Ginge went on to win the 25th series of I’m a Celeb, being crowned the King of the Jungle on December 7.

At Soccer Aid, AngryGinge played for the England team in the charity football match, and his team went on to win 3-2 against the World XI.
