I’m A Celebrity’s first campmate to walk over the rope bridge back to civilisation didn’t do so without shedding light on a jungle dynamic we haven’t seen on screen.

It was Jack Osbourne, Alex Scott, Angry Ginge, Aitch, Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, Kelly Brook and Ruby Wax all up for eviction on Friday night.

Ultimately, former Lioness Alex, 41, received the fewest votes and was booted from the jungle. But not before a post-match debrief with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

Sitting next to a glass of bubbly in the studio treehouse, Alex shared that there were certain things she decided not to confront other campmates over, in order to keep things running smoothly.

‘The toilet seat situation, I’ve still not brought it up,’ she said as an example.

Ant and Dec’s curiosity was naturally piqued and the former footballer told them someone has been leaving the toilet stench to spread through camp.

Alex explained: ‘The smell in the dunny is awful, and someone keeps leaving the toilet seat up. I know who it is and someone else knows.’

Ant quipped: ‘Well it’s one of the boys, clearly,’ as the hosts begged Alex to reveal the name of the culprit.

She simply said, ‘I can’t he’s a national treasure,’ to which they then guessed the it was Martin Kemp. Alex laughed along, quite clearly not denying it.

During Friday night’s episode of Unpacked, Martin joined the programme from the jungle and did indeed admit to some unsavoury toilet activity – albeit, not the type Alex had hinted at.

Co-host of the spin-off show Kemi Rodgers got the ball rolling by asking the tough questions: who farts the most in the camp?

Martin, 64, laughed: ‘I haven’t heard the first fart yet. Nine days in and no one has come out as a farter.’

Kemi was clearly surprised, given the quantity of beans the campmates have been shovelling down.

Martin continued, in what might have been a case of TMI: ‘No one has come out as a farter, in fact I have been fighting to fart, because I have had the runs.’

This prompted a brief silence from the panel, to which Martin added defensively: ‘Well you did ask me!’

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returns on Thursday at 9pm on ITV1, STV, ITVX & STV Player.
