I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! will be back on our TV screens in just a few days, with campmates already touching down in Australia on Sunday.
The long-running reality series had its 2024 line-up leaked earlier this month, and some of those names have landed Down Under ahead of the new series.
Former N-Dubz singer Tulisa, McFly singer and songwriter Danny Jones, and Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall were all spotted by photographers.
One of the biggest named tipped to be joining the likes of GK Barry and Melvin Odoom in the jungle is Coleen Rooney, the wife of former England footballer Wayne.
A prominent and beloved ‘WAG’ of the 2000s England team, Coleen is a huge coup for ITV as they attempt to boost I’m A Celebrity’s TV ratings from 2023.
She was famously embroiled in the Wagatha Christie legal battle in 2019 with former I’m a Celeb contestant Rebekah Vardy, wife of other former England footballer Jamie.
But how much is Coleen reported to be getting to join the camp?

Make no mistake about it, Coleen Rooney is a massive get for ITV. She and footballer husband Wayne were childhood sweethearts and have been in the public eye for more than 20 years.
Wayne burst onto the scene playing for Everton in the Premier League when they were both aged 16, having been close friends since they were at school.
When he moved to Manchester United and started playing for England, media focus on their relationship exploded and they were two of the most famous people in the country. The pair have four sons, aged 15, 11, eight, and six.
And it’s now been claimed Coleen could be about to secure a massive sum in return, if she plays her cards right.
Reports in The Sun indicate that she could be about to receive ‘up to £5million’ for her stay in the jungle, with PR expert Lynn Carratt weighing in.
‘Coleen could definitely make around £5 million if she does well in fashion and family brands. Asda paid her £3 million back in 2010 to front a George campaign and Littlewoods paid her £2 million.’
She continued: ‘She’ll likely bring out her own fashion edit with one of the affordable brands, which could earn her a big sum.’
Metro has approached Coleen’s reps for comment.
Nigel Farage

Controversial MP for Clacton Nigel Farage reportedly banked £1.5million for his jungle stint in 2023, which apparently made him the highest-paid campmate ever.
It had earlier been claimed he turned down several offers of hundreds of thousands of pounds from ITV to take part in the reality show, before finally agreeing.
Farage came in third place on the programme last year, with boxing legend Tony Bellew in second place and Sam Thompson crowned King of the Jungle.
Sam was later left floored by Farage’s reported payday, telling The Times: ‘Was he? Bloody hell! I didn’t have a clue. You could buy five houses for that!’
Sam insisted his own jungle experience wasn’t about the money or a ‘career move’, and he’d have happily gone on the show out of his own pocket.
‘Mate, I would have done it for anything! I would have been a very, very easy negotiation. I would have paid them to be on it,’ he said.
Noel Edmonds

Ex Deal or No Deal host Noel Edmonds became the highest-paid contestant during his stint in the jungle in 2018.
While he lasted just a measly nine days, arriving last and being booted out first, he made £600,000.
That meant he earned £66,667 a day.
Nonetheless, he left ‘disappointed’, saying: ‘This is in the top 10 life experiences for me. Please believe me, this is just about the finest production I’ve ever been involved with… It’s incredible, I’m humbled and proud to have been a part of it.’
Boy George

While it was first reported that Boy George was being paid £800,000 for I’m A Celebrity, it was later claimed to be £500,000.
The Karma Chameleon hitmaker promised ahead of taking part in the series that he would give bosses their money’s worth, saying: ‘I don’t ever walk on stage and think I will give a half level performance.
‘I feel like I’ve been paid well for it so I’m going to be as Boy George as I can.’
Just months earlier, he cheekily implied that his bank balance meant he didn’t have to bother taking part in reality television shows for the pay cheque.
After some explosive moments last series, George became the fourth contestant eliminated from the jungle.
Caitlyn Jenner

According to reports, Caitlyn Jenner made £500,000 from her time on I’m A Celebrity in 2019.
Hosts Ant and Dec even took a cheeky swipe at the fee, saying that while most celebrities go into the jungle to lose pounds, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star would in fact be gaining ‘500,000 of them’.
The Olympic champion, 74, was the seventh contestant eliminated, with EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa going on to win.
She had previously appeared on the US version of I’m A Celebrity, in its first series back in 2003.
Harry Redknapp

Harry Redknapp appeared alongside Edmonds on I’m A Celebrity in 2018, but he went on to win the show and was crowned King of the Jungle.
The sporting legend was reportedly paid £500,000 for going in, making him the highest paid contestant at the time in the show’s then-18-year history.
He later claimed ITV offered him twice as much money as the BBC did for Strictly Come Dancing, revealing: ‘What happened was I’m a Celebrity came and offered me twice as much money so I went there instead!’
Ian Wright

Footballing legend Ian Wright is also one of I’m A Celebrity’s highest-paid stars, and was the second highest contestant in 2019, behind Caitlyn.
The ex-Arsenal and England striker was said to have scored £400,000 for his appearance on the show, where he was eliminated fifth.
However, ahead of heading into the jungle, 2018 winner Harry dropped hints about the salary and apparently let slip that Ian had been confirmed as part of the show, despite the official line-up not being released.
An audience member said: ‘He was asked why he went in the jungle and said, “Well they paid me half a million quid, so that helped. Ian Wright’s going in this year and they’re paying him a million”.’
Amir Khan

Amir Khan returned to I’m A Celebrity’s All Stars spin-off in South Africa earlier this year.
Thankfully, there was no repeat of strawberry-gate, after his 2017 jungle experience.
The pro boxer reportedly earned around £400,000 for his time on series 17, in which he was the seventh contestant booted out of camp, with Georgia Toffolo going on to win.
Katie Price

Despite not scoring the highest-earned record, Katie Price holds another I’m A Celebrity title: the only contestant to have been on the show twice.
The first time, in 2004, Katie left with ex-husband Peter Andre, who she now shares two of her five children with.
Five years later, the ex glamour model walked out with a fee between £350,000 and £400,000, it’s been claimed.
She was the fifth eliminated during her first stint, and was the second contestant to withdraw from the competition in series nine.
Matt Hancock

Former MP Matt Hancock was paid £320,000 for 30 days work in the jungle, after reports suggested the final amount could reach £400,000.
It was later confirmed to Metro.co.uk that Hancock donated £10,000 to charity, saying: ’As well as raising the profile of his dyslexia campaign in front of 11-million viewers, Matt’s donated £10,000 to St Nicholas Hospice in Suffolk and the British Dyslexia Association, off the back of his appearance on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.’
However, the amount he donated compared to how much he earned sparked intense backlash.
Hancock also raked in £45,000 to take part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, for which he spent 80 hours filming.
How much have politicians earned on I’m A Celebrity?
While Farage tops them all, several politicians have earned substantial fees from their time on the reality series.
Former Tory MP Edwina Currie took part on I’m A Celebrity in 2014, where she finished in fourth place, where she said she ‘earned close to £100,000’.
Stanley Johnson was rumoured to have earned around £250,000 in 2017.
Nadine Dorries was the first sitting MP to star on the show in 2012, where she was expected to earn around £40,000.
It’s believed Farage previously turned down several offers of hundreds of thousands of pounds from ITV to take part in the reality show, but it looks like money does indeed talk.
Sources close to the politician claim he will be ‘worth every penny’, with one telling MailOnline: ‘ITV needs him more than he needs them.’
The I’m A Celebrity final airs tonight, December 10, from 9pm on ITV.
