
Content creator Ayzia J. Toledo has died at the age of 22 after a car crash in New Jersey that also killed one of her passengers.
The influencer, who has more than 300,000 followers across her Instagram and TikTok pages, was driving a BMW when the vehicle left the road before overturning and crashing into a tree, according to New Jersey State Police.
Authorities said Ayzia and her front-seat passenger, 22-year-old Henrietta Carter, died in the collision.
A third person, who was sitting in the back of the car, survived with minor injuries.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Ayzia, whose profile described her as a TV personality, model and content creator, was known for regularly sharing lifestyle and fashion content as well as dispatches from her travels.
Following her death, her family has launched a GoFundMe to help cover funeral and memorial costs, describing the 22-year-old as someone who left a lasting impact on those around her.
The fundraiser says: ‘Ayzia was deeply loved by her family, cherished by her close friends, and admired by many throughout her community.
‘She had a beautiful spirit, a vibrant personality, and a way of making everyone around her feel seen, valued, and loved.’
Her relatives also said she had been ‘building an incredible future’ while growing her online platform, adding that her ‘authenticity, energy and unique light’ touched everyone she met.
At the time of writing, the fundraiser had raised more than $8,000 towards its $13,000 target.
Fans have also been paying tribute on her social media pages, with many sharing messages of condolence beneath her most recent posts.
One follower wrote: ‘Always in our hearts,’ while another said: ‘My heart… I love you so much.’ A third commented: ‘Rest up beautiful.’
