Jennifer Aniston’s Ex Expecting First Baby With Wife

Actors Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom are expecting their first child together, as reported by People.

The happy news was announced Tuesday, December 9.

Details about the baby — including the due date and gender — have not been released publicly. 

While Theroux has a long list of films and shows, Bloom has her own impressive career.

She has built a steady acting career, known for roles on shows such as “The Gilded Age” and “Paradise.”

From Romance to Parenthood

Theroux, 54, and Bloom, 31, tied the knot in March 2025 after a romance that began in early 2023.

Their engagement came in August 2024, when Theroux proposed in Italy with a custom engagement ring — a 4-carat emerald-cut diamond band set with both of their birthstones, People reported at the time.

The proposal and subsequent wedding were followed by red-carpet appearances and moments of shared joy — but until now, the couple has kept their private life discreet, in line with Theroux’s long-expressed preference for privacy.

“The Leftovers” star briefly dished on when he met his now-wife while appearing on “The Drew Barrymore Shore” in September of 2024.

“A friend of mine who was with me, literally the quote was, ‘That’s the one,’” he said.

“Like, we hadn’t even met yet. And I was like, ‘She’s so stunning.’ So I went over and started talking and things like that and it progressed.”

Theroux first met Aniston in 2007, though they didn’t start dating until 2011.

The two were married from 2015 to 2018. While the relationship didn’t work out the two remain close.

While speaking with The Times in September 2024 he had nothing but kind words for Aniston.

“She is still very dear to me so of course, yeah, I feel protective,” Theroux said. “But she batted back criticism, as well she should.”

Theroux Is Incredibly Private

In a candid interview with Esquire in May of 2023, Theroux told the publication how much he values privacy in a relationship.

“There’s something to, once you’re out of that, where I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we’re in,” he began.

While he was already divorced from Aniston, he added how he doesn’t publicly talk about their relationship.

He continued, “And I’m not trying to be evasive, but I talk to Jen—I don’t talk about Jen. People will always want to gossip and say things, but you have to find that balance.”

The now 54-year-old added how being private is much better for relationships.

“And having been in a public relationship, it’s much more fun not being in a public relationship,” Theroux noted. “Me saying anything, even if it was something loving, it would just turn into a thing. So it’s a classic no-comment situation for me.”
