Jennifer Garner Wants You to Join Her for a Jog

Jennifer Garner wants you to join her for a jog on on Sunday, June 22. And she has a great reason for that.

The “The Last Thing He Told Me” actress shared a video on Instagram. In it she explained that June 22 will mark the 67th day that she has run a mile to bring attention to a charity she loves- “Save the Children.”

In the caption, Garner writes, “Join me on June 22nd to run a mile for @savethechildren! I’ve been running one mile a day for the last 67 days— just $67 can help bring a child back from the brink of starvation. Now I’m inviting you to join me for my final mile on Sunday, June 22nd with @becsgentry and @brooksrunning in support of Save the Children— in LA or from wherever you are! Let’s celebrate what we’ve done and keep this movement going strong 💪♥️ Sign up at my link in bio 🏃‍♀️🏃”

Nearly 60,000 followers jumped on the post to support the big-hearted actress not long after she posted the video.

Jennifer Garner Started the Running Campaign on Her Birthday

Jennifer Garner started running for “Save the Children” on her 53rd birthday April 17.

In her first Instagram post about the effort, she wrote, “Happy birthday to me! As I enter a new year, I feel compelled to do something, to put my feet on the ground for kids. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

I have been feeling helpless about the world hunger crisis. Millions of children are suffering from acute malnutrition and 16,000 children are at immediate risk of dying from preventable causes. I’ve been lucky enough to find myself on the giving side of life. And I am lucky enough to have 16 years as an ambassador and Trustee for @savethechildren, an organization I love and trust. Save is embedded in these communities, committed to caring for the world’s most vulnerable.

It costs $67 to provide six weeks of ready-to-eat therapeutic food (RUTF) to bring one child from acute malnutrition to the chance at a healthy, thriving life.

I have and, God willing, will continue to donate to Save the Children. This moment in time feels like a larger call to action is needed. So I am running (not my best or favorite activity, I’m a 🐢 🦥 🐌) one mile a day, no matter what, for the next 67 days.

Run, walk, bike, wheel, skateboard, crawl for kids. Join me for one mile or for 67—any time between now and June 22nd. Tag us at #67Strong4Kids and we’ll keep each other going.

If you’d like to donate $6.70 or $16.70 or $67.00, the link is in my bio. ♥️ See you tomorrow.”

Since then, she’s kept up with the daily effort. She’s even been joined on a jog by pro Peleton instructor and host of “Set the Pace Podcast,” Becs Gentry. Becs will join Jen on the run June 22 as well.

Jennifer Garner’s Passion for Childhood Nutrition Could Make Her a Billionaire

Jennifer Garner has invested in her stated deep concern for children’s nutrition in more ways than one over the years. And that may just turn out to make her a billionaire soon.

Garner is a founder of organic baby food company, Once Upon a Farm. It has filed for what’s called an IPO or “initial public offering” according to Reuters. That means the company’s stock could go public as soon as sometime this year.

When that happens, financial experts say it could instantly make Once Upon a Farm worth a billion dollars or more.

In 2024, Jen told Food Processing, “As [CEO] John [Foraker], Cassandra and I, along with the entire Once Upon a Farm team, have built this company. We’ve always had big ambitions, chief among them to bring healthy, nutritious food to kids everywhere. Once I started working for Once Upon a Farm, I loved the idea of connecting kids to the farm early on. And so here we are, connecting kids to the farm and it gets to be my family’s farm that’s been with us since 1936.”
