Jeremy Clarkson has discussed the one ‘absolutely infuriating’ part of farming that still frustrates him today.

The 66-year-old former Top Gear star has certainly been open about the difficulties he has faced on Diddly Squat Farm.

Earlier this year, Jeremy shared a ‘disastrous’ update that the farm was dealing with an outbreak of tuberculosis among its cows.

This came before a star of Clarkson’s Farm was rushed to hospital in February after ‘chopping the end of her finger off’ and requiring surgery.

Now, however, speaking ahead of the premiere of Clarkson’s Farm season five, the former Grand Tour host lifted the lid on what annoys him in ‘everyday life’.

‘After six or seven years of farming, I still can’t attach anything to the back of a tractor,’ he told the Express.

‘I can’t remember the sequence of buttons, I can’t line anything up properly, and I don’t know where the hydraulic hoses go. It disappoints me that I still have to get Kaleb to help. Anything practical, I can’t do.

‘It’s annoying in everyday life, but on a farm it’s absolutely infuriating.’

The latest trailer for the Amazon Prime series sees Jeremy attempt to banish tractors for good as he attempts to get to grips with a driverless tractor, much to the distaste of Kaleb Cooper.

When is each episode of Clarkson’s Farm airing?

The Amazon Prime Video farming series will return on June 3.

  • Episodes 1-4 available June 3
  • Episodes 5-6 available June 10
  • Episodes 7-8 available June 17

A new flock of sheep are then seen arriving on the farm to cause mayhem.

Meanwhile, we see first hand the impact a government budget has on the UK farming community.

A synopsis for the new season states: ‘Clarkson’s Farm is back, and amidst a government budget that sends the UK farming community into uproar, Jeremy decides some big changes are needed to make the farm run more smoothly.

‘But while the farm tries to go high-tech – resulting in Kaleb’s first ever trip abroad – even bigger developments are heading for Diddly Squat that are going to prove much more of a challenge.’

The newest sneak peak also revealed the moment Jeremy was hospitalised after suffering from a heart condition.

The 66-year-old can be seen with tubes and wires attached to his body on a hospital bed before he tells Kaleb: ‘My heart wasn’t getting any blood.’

Describing his scare, Jeremy said that he was just ‘days from death’ last year.

Writing in his Sunday Times column in October, the 64-year-old broadcaster said he suffered a string of sudden and severe symptoms that began during a holiday.

A doctor then told him that he was ‘days away’ from catastrophe.

Clarkson’s Farm series 5 will return on 3rd June on Amazon Prime Video.
