Actress Amber Heard is marking a milestone â and sharing it on her own terms.
The 39-year-old star posted a couple of Instagram photos commemorating her first Halloween as a mother of three, offering a rare glimpse into her family life after what has been a highly publicized few years.
In the snapshots, Heard is dressed as a witch with a pointy hat, while her daughter Oonagh Paige, 4, matches her in a black witchâs outfit, striped tights and an orange sash.
Her newborn twins â son Ocean and daughter Agnes, born this year â both appear in festive hats (a spider and a pumpkin) and cozy outfits as they join the trick-or-treat outing. Heard captioned the post: “Halloweening with my minnies.â Â
The occasion is striking for more than the adorable costumes.
It signals a period of family renewal for Heard, who has described motherhood as the âmost humbling experience.â
Heard Shared She Welcomed Twins in May
The “Aquaman” actress made the sweet annoucement in a touching Mother’s Day post.
She shared an image of her twins feet and a lengthy caption on what it means to be a mom of three.
“This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family Iâve strived to build for years,” she shared. “Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang.”
Heard added that her whole world changed after her oldest child and thought she couldn’t expreience any more joy. However, she revealed she could after her twins arrived.
âBecoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life,” she added. “I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.”
She concluded the message by adding, “To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you.”
Heard Has Stayed Away From the Spotlight Since Her Divorce
Heard has maintained a quiet life since her divorce and highly publicized legal case with actor Johnny Depp.
The actress alleged that Depp was physically abusive, which Depp has vehemently denied. The trial lasted from April to June 2022, and Heard was ultimately found liable in all three defamation matters against Depp.
Since the trial, she moved to Madrid, Spain.
She spoke with “Today” host Savannah Guthrie in June 2022, according to E! News and expressed what she was looking forward to most.
âI get to be a mom,â she said at the time. âFull time, you know? Where Iâm not having to juggle calls with lawyers.â
