While filming for an untitled action film, Jonathan Majors, 36, accidentally fell downward six feet after crashing through a glass window.
In a video obtained by Deadline, the director could be heard yelling, â3, 2, 1, action!â Majors was then struck with a fake bullet during the staged gunfire scene. To make the gunshot appear more realistic, the actor forcefully threw his body backwards.

The closed glass window that was behind him, however, wasnât strong enough to handle the gravity of his weight along with his co-star JC Kilcoyneâs body falling backwards with him.
As Majors crashed through the window, the production crew rushed to check on him and Kilcoyne by peering above their bodies as they lay below.
While one crew member could be heard saying, “Use it,â after asking if they got the accident on camera, another crew member looked down at Majors, reassuring him that he appeared to be uninjured.
Kilcoyne, however, required stitches âall over his hands,â according to Deadline.
Sources shared with Deadline that the accident occurred after the window was replaced with an unsecured sheet of tempered glass. Sources noted that the tempered window was meant to be broken at a later time during a different stunt that did not involve any actors on set.
After the accident, members of the film crew stopped working and went on strike, citing unsafe working conditions. The film is currently being filmed in Gaffney, South Carolina, where crew members formed a picket line, refusing to continue their job.Â

The untitled movie Majors is filming for is a making of the Daily Wire and Bonfire Legend. When asked about the dangerous fall, Dallas Sonnier of Bonfire Legend told The Hollywood Reporter, âThe actorsâ fall was shorter than the failed movie careers of the now-union reps.â
According to Deadline, the Daily Wire, whose film producer is Ben Shapiro, and Sonnier, who is Bonfire Legendâs movie producer, have been working to replace those who quit, while those who left are in turn convincing new crew members not to take the job.
After set members went on strike, Sonnier shared a statement with Deadline, explaining how he and other production members are âtoo busyâ to worry about the complaints of others.
âWe are too busy being bad [expletive], blowing [expletive] up, flying helicopters, and killing movie terrorists to concern ourselves with four [expletive] with signs on the sidewalk and their illegitimate âstrike,ââ the producer stated.
