Julia Roberts may be a famous movie star; however, at home, she’s mom to three children, Henry, Hazel and Phinnaeus who she shares with husband Danny Moder. The latter two kids happen to be twins who have just celebrated their 21st birthday.
To mark the special occasion, Roberts took to Instagram on Friday, November 28, to share a rare photo of her older children as babies.
Showing the twins in high chairs enjoying a treat, we also get a glimpse at the room around them which includes a couple of presents on a table suggesting the photo is from their first birthday.
In the caption, Roberts wrote, “These game changers, life alterers, â¤ï¸expanders once were 1 and now are 21! That was fast ð Happy Birthday my Dears ðð¥â¡ð”
Julia’s Followers Sent Birthday Messages
Although Roberts limited the comments on her post, there were still a few sweet sentiments for the twins.
One person wrote, “Happy birthday to the bestest and they kind of look the same â¤ï¸”
“This pic ð. Happiest birthday to the best ðð,” another person added.
A third person wrote, “Happy 21st to the sweetest pair! We love you! ð”
“Happy Birthday to the best! â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸,” came from someone else.
The Twins Still Let Julia ‘Be the Same Mom’ as They Get Older
When the twins were 19 years old and Henry was 16, Roberts spoke to “Today” (via People) about her relationship with her children as they got older and left home for college.
“I parent them the same way out of the house that I parented them in the house, which is ‘Are you getting enough sleep? You sound like you’re sick, are you drinking enough tea? Text me when you get home. I can see that you’re home safe and sound,’” she said.
“And I have immense amount of appreciation for both of my older kids because they still allow me to be the same mom to them and it’s not eye-rolling,” Roberts added. “There’s a huge amount of understanding.”
At that point, the star was asked, “Is it a different discomfort, you leaving and traveling for work and all that? Compared to them leaving and going to college?”
“Yeah. And it’s funny too, right now me being away,” Roberts said. “And so Henry and Danny are home, and then I’m in another time zone, and then Phinn is somewhere and Hazel is somewhere and we were all on a FaceTime the other day â together, all of us.”
She recalled, “And it was so fun, I might of had a towel on my wet head. We were all so happy to be together that way that we still are so deeply in love.”
