The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! hopes of Junior and Princess Andre have reportedly been quashed by the show’s bosses.
As the son and daughter of Peter Andre and Katie Price, aged 21 and 19, respectively, they are said to have harboured ambitions to follow their famous parents’ footsteps all the way onto the set of the ITV reality competition.
The jungle is where pop star Peter first met glamour model Katie (then Jordan) in 2004, kicking off their five-year romance.
Totally smitten, the stars began dating after leaving the show, where they’d lost out to eventual winner Kerry Katona.
Tying the knot in 2005, their marriage lasted four years, during which time they welcomed two children – Junior in 2005 and Princess in 2007.

The pair’s offspring were believed to have been keen to take part in the imminent I’m A Celebrity spin-off, Wild Frontier, only for this dream to now be thwarted.
A source told The Sun: ‘Princess and Junior have always wanted to do I’m A Celeb, after all it’s where their parents met so it would be a sweet full-circle moment.
‘When they found out ITV were planning a spin off with teams of two, their management team put the feelers out to the people who cast the show.’
However, they’re now said to be out of the running due to their forthcoming participation in Celebrity Race Across the World, which is yet to air.
They continued: ‘The team at I’m a Celeb felt that the two series are too similar, especially as this spin-off revolves around celebs competing in pairs – much like RATW.
‘The other issue is that Race Across the World hasn’t even aired yet, and they could potentially air very close together. The last thing ITV bosses want is to look like they are following other series.’
Junior and Princess are said to be ‘gutted’ by the decision, with the mole adding: ‘The spin-off would have been the perfect show for them, as it’s going back to the roots of how their parents met, but also not a retread of the jungle, so a bit different.’
In 2022, Princess and Junior first shared their I’m A Celeb ambitions.
Speaking at the Pride of Britain Awards, the beauty influencer told Metro: ‘That’s something I really want to do.’
Junior chipped in: ‘I think we have to do that! To represent,’ he then added: ‘We came from the jungle, didn’t we?’
‘It would actually be good to go on there, knowing both our parents were on there; that’s how they met,’ Princess agreed.
Said Junior: ‘And the show’s so amazing; it’s been going on for so long, so to be able to do that would actually be a very big achievement.’
The door might be closed for now, but they haven’t given up hope just yet.
‘They are hoping there might be another opportunity in the future, but for now it’s a definite no,’ the tabloid’s source finished.
Of their Celebrity Race Across the World debut, an insider told The Sun that ‘Princess and Junior have proven themselves to be well-mannered, hardworking kids’ and ‘opportunities continue to come their way’.
‘Execs were impressed with the ratings for The Princess Diaries, but also how they came across. They’re brilliant signings for Celeb Race as they bring with them a younger audience.
‘But bosses are also looking forward to seeing how they cope with the stripped-back style of travelling as they’re more at home in five- star hotels than a hostel.’
This comes days after Junior and Princess appeared on their mum’s latest documentary series, Kate Price: Nothing to Hide.
In an emotional series, the children broke down in tears as they recalled Katie’s historic drug use.
Like Race Across the World, I’m A Celebrity: Wild Frontier will consist of teams of two.
The Sun previously reported that the spin-off had already found its first duo in Irish boyband members Brian McFadden (Westlife) and Keith Duffy (of Boyzone fame).
A source told The Sun last month: ‘Bosses are delighted that Keith and Brian will be taking part; they’ll each bring a lot of fun and mischief to the camp.’
Like Junior and Princess, Brian comes with his own I’m A Celebrity baggage – having been married to 2004 winner Kerry for two years.
While Brian and Keith are both recognisable faces, it’s believed that some duos will consist of a celebrity and their non-famous partner or family member, just like Celebrity Race Across the World.
