Justin Bieber was beaming and in good spirits over the weekend after his statement regarding Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs amid the latter’s ongoing trial.

Late last week, the 31-year-old pop star responded to widespread concern from fans worried he could have been abused by the 55-year-old rapper during his early years in the music industry.

On Thursday, Justin’s spokesperson told TMZ: ‘Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him.

‘Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.’

Days later, Justin made sure to step back and relax, enjoying hockey with his wife Hailey Bieber, following a round of golf with his dad Jeremy.

Later in the evening, the couple enjoyed an evening watching his beloved Toronto Maple Leaves in action.

Snaps were shared by the NHL on Instagram showing him in the front row of the Scotiabank Arena with a huge smile on his face and an arm around his partner.

The caption read: ‘@haileybieber & @justinbieber are in the house tonight cheering on the @mapleleafs!🙌🏼 #StanleyCup #Game7’

Justin also shared pictures from his vantage point at rink side behind the players and he was positively beaming.

‘I’m a slut for these boys,’ he quipped.

Earlier in the day, Justin got outside for a round of golf with dad Jeremy.

In a rare photo with his father, Justin pulled a playful face for the camera with his tongue stuck out while he posed in a big black puffer jacket.

His dad was in shades and a white baseball cap, with a huge smile on his face.

‘Shot 82 at the Stratford muni today,’ Justin wrote alongside the post, referencing Stratford Municipal Golf Course in Ontario.

Jeremy shared the same selfie on his own Instagram profile, as well as a photo of his son concentrating on lining up as a shot as his dad smiles for the camera.

He quipped in the caption: ‘right when I get better so does he. #darnit 🤪⛳️gg🤦🏻‍♂️’

In an Instagram message to MailOnline, Jeremy confirmed he lost with a final score of ’82-84′ but remained gracious, adding that his son ‘shot well today’.

Last week, Justin broke his silence to confirm he wasn’t one of Combs’ alleged victims, days after the disgraced 55-year-old rapper’s trial started in New York on Monday.

Combs – who has denied all allegations – faces charges of racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, and could spend the rest of his life in prison if convicted.

Combs aided in the Love Yourself hitmaker’s rise to fame, having mentored Usher, who signed the Canadian singer at just 14 years old after Scooter Braun discovered him.

An insider previously told Us Weekly he ‘wants to protect himself’ and is ‘completely disgusted’ by the allegations.

In a video taken in 2010 when Justin was 16, the young pop star can be seen stuttering and looking uncomfortable as Combs asks him why he doesn’t hang out with him anymore.

The pair did maintain a friendship over the years, with Justin even collaborating on Diddy’s song Moment on 2023 record The Love Album: Off the Grid.
