Kaleb Cooper has shared an update on Jeremy Clarkson’s health after he shared his diagnosis with cancer on Clarkson’s Farm.
Clarkson was seen telling Cooper in the season finale, who was visibly upset by the news.
The 66-year-old went on to say he would be out of action ‘for a while’ and finished the episode from a hospital bed amid treatment.
Farm manager Cooper has now said that the TV presenter is doing well, adding: ‘The spirits are high, which is good.’
Speaking to the Daily Mail, he added: ‘If anything like this happens to any of your friends and you just said to my best mate, you’ve gotta be supported through that whole journey.
‘And that’s where I’ve been, I’ve been right by his side and his spirits are really good, so thank you.
‘He’s strong-minded, he’s got a strong mind on him, which is good.’
He went on to express the importance of people checking themselves, noting that ‘catching anything early is quite important’.
‘That’s the main thing, but you’ve gotta keep checking, you know what I mean, it’s all these things, you know, people can sit there and say I’m busy, busy, busy,’ said Cooper.
‘But actually sometimes you’ve gotta go I’m gonna just have to check and see if I’m okay.’
Clarkson’s girlfriend Lisa Hogan also shared a photo of the former Top Gear star on the farm to her Instagram Story, in which he is holding a long lens camera to take a picture.
The Irish actress then posted a photo of Clarkson sharing the news on the Amazon Prime TV show, writing in the caption: ‘Thank you for all your support today,’ tagging Prostate Cancer UK.
Clarkson, 66, has been inundated with well-wishes after viewers saw him reveal his diagnosis.
Among them was TV presenter Piers Morgan, despite having once been punched by him following a spat at the 2004 British Press Awards.
He wrote on X: ‘I wish my old sparring partner all the best with his treatment. Guys, have a PSA test, it may save your life.’
Clarkson’s Farm is available to stream on Prime Video.
