Kandi Burruss Says Todd Tucker Tried ‘Multiple Times’ to Pitch Show About ‘RHOA’ Men, But No One Was Interested

<p id=”par-1_11″>Kandi Burruss is weighing on her <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/what-actually-ended-kandi-burruss-and-todd-tuckers-marriage-the-timeline.html/”>ex-husband Todd Tucker’</a>s latest project. </p>

<p id=”par-2_73″>In a new interview with  Audi Cornish and Ari Shapiro’s for CNN’s <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DdufIMpoD4U/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”><em>Engagement Party</em></a> podcast, Kandi discussed her ex’s upcoming doc, <em>‘Til Divorce Do Us Part. </em>The movie – which is apparently coming to theaters later this year –  features Todd and other ex-husbands of <em>The Real Housewives of Atlanta </em>stars, including Apollo Nida (ex-husband of Phaedra Parks) and Peter Thomas (ex-husband of Cynthia Bailey), and Ralph Pittman Jr. (ex-husband of Drew Sidora). </p>

<p id=”par-3_21″>During their chat, Cornish shared that she was a fan of <em>RHOA, </em>but that she wasn’t interested in the men’s lives.</p>

<p id=”par-4_37″>“One of the things I loved about <em>Real Housewives,</em> it was centering the story of women,” she said. “Many over the age of 40. And I didn’t really want to know about the dudes on the side.”</p>

<p id=”par-5_6″>Burruss wasn’t surprised by Cornish’s feelings.</p>

<p id=”par-6_31″>“He’s tried to pitch this show multiple times,” the <em>Bravo </em>alum revealed. “They did not choose to do it because I think a lot of people feel the way you do.”</p>

<p id=”par-7_42″>Previously, Burruss slammed Tucker’s upcoming film after he released a trailer online that shows him opening up to Thomas <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/todd-tucker-ex-wife-kandi-burruss-threesomes-most-marriage.html/”>about the threesomes</a> he says he and Burruss frequently had during their marriage. Burruss said he should have kept those intimate details private. </p>

<p id=”par-8_72″>“A man who has already hurt me to my core is furthering the damage by choosing to sensationalize our sex life to stretch his five minutes of fame,” she told <a href=”https://people.com/todd-tucker-says-he-ex-kandi-burruss-had-threesomes-for-most-of-marriage-12123983″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>People</a> in a statement. “What consensually happens between a husband and wife in the privacy of their marriage is exactly that—private. His current behavior has only confirmed that I did the right thing by getting divorced. I Do, I Did, I’m Done!”</p>
