“Hawaii. I miss you. I mean, I came, I saw, I did a show and you, Hawaii, you delivered. Yes I am aware that I am very, very pale and yes, I am aware that my swimming shoes are a source for ridicule. But I have very virginal feet. I am just a demure little flower, goddamnit. Aloha and Mahalo ðº,” she wrote.
The post quickly filled with supportive comments from fans celebrating the star’s confidence and humor.

The comedian stunned the audience when she walked onto the stage wearing only a bikini and gold heels, instantly drawing cheers from the crowd. Host Sherri Shepherd, 58, looked visibly shocked as Griffin made her entrance.

The actress and comedian later reflected on turning 65 in a heartfelt Instagram post, sharing that despite the milestone birthday, she still feels âlike Iâm 25.â
The Comedian Was Recently Hospitalized After Colonoscopy Complications
Griffin rose to fame with her Emmy-winning reality show “My Life on the D-List,” which aired from 2005 to 2010. Since then, she’s been transparent about navigating various health challenges.
Griffin’s joyful posts came as welcome news to fans who were concerned after she revealed she’d been hospitalized just days earlier due to complications from a colonoscopy.
“Well, the sound got screwed up, but I made this video for you guys because I’m TMI anyway,” Griffin shared on Instagram. “I spent the night in the hospital because I had complications from my colonoscopy.”
She continued, “I know, I know very sexy, but I am home now with the doggies where I belong.”
The comedian didn’t share specific details about what went wrong during the procedure, which uses a microscopic camera to examine the large intestine for colorectal cancers, blockages, ulcers, and other issues, according to the Mayo Clinic.
In August 2021, Griffin revealed she’d been diagnosed with Stage 1 lung cancer and underwent surgery to remove half of her left lung. She announced she was officially “cancer-free” that December.
More recently, in April 2025, Griffin shared that she’d had a hysterectomy due to a pre-cancerous condition.
“I had a hysterectomy on Friday, that’s right they took out the uterus, the fallopian tubes & the ovaries,” she wrote at the time. “Pre-cancerous, blah blah blah.”
Despite the health challenges, Griffin continues to embrace life with gratitude, joy and her signature fearless humor.
