Katie Price has shared an update with fans on her relationship with daughter Princess after her feud with ex-husband Peter Andre escalates.

Rumours of a rift between former glamour model Katie, 47, and influencer Princess, 18, have been rife since Katie was not invited to her 18th birthday party.

With the launch of Princess’ reality TV show, The Princess Diaries, Katie claimed that she was banned from appearing on the show by Peter, 52, and his management.

Breaking his silence, Peter took to Instagram to share some harsh words with his ex-wife, who he split from in 2009.

Amid rumours of a fallout between the mother and daughter, Katie took to Snapchat to share she had been enjoying ‘a well-needed catch up with her princess.’

The duo smiled for a selfie posted to the social media platform as they posed in pyjamas for a snap.

Princess also shared the picture on her own page, simply captioning the post ‘Mumzy.’

Princess has been a staple of our screens since she was born, appearing in a reality TV show that chronicled the first six weeks of her life as well as Katie and Peter’s various solo shows following their split.

The teen appeared on Katie’s Mucky Mansion, which detailed the I’m A Celebrity alum transforming her sprawling 19-room dilapidated home.

It was a tumultuous time in Katie and her children’s lives, with Princess sharing how she doesn’t have positive memories of the ‘scary house.’

‘A lot went on there. So I didn’t really like it,’ she told The Guardian. ‘I guess when you have bad experiences somewhere, you don’t like the place.’

Katie has been open about her suffering with depression and feeling suicidal during that time, as well as her alcohol and drug use.

‘There was a period of time when me and Junior actually had to live with my dad,’ Princess says, addressing the court order that Peter made public last week as his spat with Katie intensifies.

‘Dad’s house is a lot quieter, a lot more peaceful, a lot more organised. Whereas my mum’s house is much more just do what you want.’

However, she said her mum is in a much better place now and is ‘way different.’

It comes as Katie and Peter have been at loggerheads over Princess’ reality TV show, The Princess Diaries, with Katie claiming she was banned from appearing on the show by Peter and his management.

Breaking his silence, Peter took to his Instagram account to share some stern words with his ex-wife.

Princess has addressed the sudden escalation on Snapchat during a Q&A after she was asked: ‘Does it affect you even now when your mum and dad don’t get on?’

The teen responded: ‘To be honest it doesn’t affect me. At the end of the day, they broke up when I was two years old so I don’t even have any memory of them being together.’

Over the top of the clip, Princess added: ‘I love my mum and dad and that’s all that matters.’
