Katie Price wants to start a family with husband Lee Andrews, but she’s not introducing him to her current kids for some time.
The romance left fans dumbfounded as on a trip to Dubai, she met, got engaged, and married businessman Lee, 41.
Reportedly, Katie’s family had no idea about the wedding and felt a little ‘blindsided’ along with all her fans.
Daughter Princess, 18, is said to be ‘horrified’ by it all and ‘desperate’ to save her mum, 47, from the relationship, which has baffled everyone.
Now, Katie has told The Sun she’s waiting for the right time to introduce her kids to Lee, ‘even if it takes a year’.
‘They need stability,’ she explained, despite the fact she’s now having to split her time between the UK and Dubai, as well as potentially welcoming a 6th child.
Katie is mum to Princess and Junior, 20, with Peter Andre, having recently agreed to amicably co-parent, as well as Harvey, 23, who needs around-the-clock support.
He was born with Prader-Willi Syndrome, autism, and septo-optic dysplasia, a condition that affects vision and brain function.
The former glamour model sent us all into a spin when she declared she was ‘having his child’, before clarifying she was not pregnant.
Lee initially indulged the claim, writing in a post that they were a ‘perfect couple soon to be triple’.
‘I’m off to see the doctor later, actually,’ Katie confirmed to the publication. ‘Because I’d love to have kids with Lee, even if it means adopting.’
Concern about the pair’s whirlwind romance and determination to start a family has been growing as the businessman’s credentials were questioned.
He claimed to work for the Labour Party and The King’s Trust were exposed as a sham, and pictures with Elon Musk were heavily speculated to be AI.
She was told by Lee’s exes to ‘run for the hills’ from the ‘conman’ who they claim lied to them throughout their relationships.
The most shocking allegation was that he actually cannot leave Dubai due to previous jail time, which he denies.
However, as Katie arrived back in the UK last week, she landed without her husband, which only fuelled the rumours that he is grounded in the UAE.
In the new interview, the former I’m A Celeb star doubled down on her insistence that she’s not stupid or being duped.
Katie said: ‘I can reassure everyone at home that I haven’t gone for a con man. I haven’t gone for a scammer. There was no love bombing. I’m not stupid.’
Days later, Lee shared a video of himself in Dubai with helicopters flying overhead, with the UAE’s airspace temporarily closed due to the US-Iran conflict.
