Former glamour model Katie Price has proudly revealed her recent weight gain following fans’ fears about her health in recent months.
In an Instagram post from Tuesday, the mum-of-five shared a picture of her pedicured feet standing on the scales.
She captioned the post, which was also shared by her husband Lee Andrews: ‘Everyone mentioning my weight here you go I’m healthy. 7 stone 12 pounds, I’ve put on weight.’
The 47-year-old has concerned her followers with her slender frame recently, with the star checking into hospital last year after experiencing weight loss.
After seeking medical treatment after accidentally stabbing herself while preparing food in the kitchen, Katie said she had been checked back into hospital in September to investigate her unexplained weight loss.
‘I’ve been up early at the doctors so she could do some bloods – and because my veins are so bad. They had three attempts. They could only fill two tubes up, so I’ve got to go back in two weeks.’
She explained further: ‘The reason I’m going to the doctors is because I keep losing weight, and I don’t know why. So that’s that.’
The investigation continued into January, with the Mucky Mansion reality star saying on an episode of her podcast The Katie Price show that there is ‘obviously something wrong’ with her.
She insisted that she eats everything in sight but still fails to put on weight, and knew she looked ‘gaunt’.
However in February, Katie shared in a video on social media that she had gained weight while in Dubai with Lee, who she called ‘ a feeder’.
She continued: ‘I’ve actually put on half a stone. So it goes to show, that when you’re happy…’
She also turned to Lee, whom she married just weeks after first meeting, for his input after saying that she ‘can’t stop eating’, with the businessman adding: ‘You eat a lot.’
‘I’m just comfy,’ she responded.
The 47-year-old has undergone multiple plastic surgeries over the years at an estimated cost of over £100,000, including six face lifts, 17 breast augmentations, three Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBL), dental work and a fox eye procedure.
She also underwent ‘butterfly’ lip tweakments in Dubai last month, but complained that the results looked like a ‘cat’s bum hole’.
In her latest vlog, friend Ben told her she needed to ‘pack it in’ when it came to getting any more surgery and learn to love herself..
Katie replied: ‘But that is not exactly surgery, that is fixing a problem.’
She also claimed that her lips looked ‘wonky’ and ‘like a cat’s bum hole’.
Katie went on: ‘I do [love myself] I am the best person ever inside, I just don’t like what I look like.’
