Lee Andrews, the estranged husband of Katie Price, has been accused of scamming a businessman out of his life savings and leaving him forced to live in his car.
During Katie’s appearance on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday morning, she played a voice note from her now-confirmed ex – currently jailed in Dubai’s Al-Awir prison – where he insisted he has $50million (£37.3m) in his crypto wallet.
This is the same wallet that Katie, 48, alleges contained just £2.22 when he handed her over the passkey to access its funds, earlier this month.
With Katie saying Lee had left her embarrassed and accusing him of having ‘scammed my heart’, another alleged scam has now come to light, with businessman Nicholas Fiaschetti, 40, claiming he was left penniless after investing $200,000 (£149,239) into a business promoted by Lee in 2024.
Nicholas says he met Lee at at the Four Seasons Hotel on the Palm Jumeirah – but wishes he ‘never had’, claiming that others are ‘in’ on the con because there were ‘so many people connected to him telling me I could trust him’.
‘Lee worked hard to earn my trust. He tapped into my belief system in God, he made me think we both had the same way of thinking, the same morals and values,’ he told The Sun, adding that their conversations ‘went on for a long time before any talk of investing came up’.

Nicholas, who is not the first person to accuse Lee publicly of scamming them, alleges that the self-styled entrepreneur was offering him ‘double my money back plus 20 per cent of the shares’.
‘Lee would talk and talk at me and you just start to believe it. Looking back, it makes me think of a psychopath – someone who has learned to mimic. Someone who can pretend to be happy and cheerful, but really they don’t feel that at all,’ he shared with the outlet.
Nicholas says Lee sent him details of a Lloyd’s bank account with over $100m (£74.6m) deposited, while he also saw photos of him ‘with a sheik holding a cheque for $150m (£11.9m)’, leading him to believe that he was ‘loaded’ and wasn’t looking to ‘rob’ him of his money.
After transferring the money, Nicholas claims that Lee then got his dad Peter involved as well, who allegedly posed as an international lawyer when Nicholas started chasing him for his return on investment.
‘He came on claiming he was an international lawyer and was backing up Lee’s version of events saying that the funds were being held up. It was utter bulls**t.’
Peter Andrews, who was jailed in Al-Awir alongside his son earlier this summer on reported fraud allegations but has since been released, is yet to respond to this claim.
Nicholas, who has set up a GoFundMe to try and rebuild his life after claiming he had to sleep in his car ‘for months’ after losing everything, has said he’s reported Lee’s scam to the FBI.
He has also cast doubts on Lee’s claim of his multi-million-dollar crypto wallet balance, insisting: ‘There is no $50m in an account. Or I’d have my $200,000 back by now. It is all a lie.’
In Lee’s voice note on GMB, he said that he ‘will never stop loving’ Katie, but admitted ‘divorce is for the best’.
The former glamour model confirmed she has split from the businessman just nine months after they married following a whirlwind romance in the UAE.
In the voice note, Lee said he was in ‘civil jail’ but insisted he had not ‘been convicted of any crimes nor am I a criminal’.

Misleading claims of being a multi-millionaire business owner
When Katie introduced Lee as her new partner, he presented himself as the CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027 and an investor in ‘SpaceX Hybrid Fitness’.
His social media, which boasted more than 100,000 followers, was filled with photos of luxury cars, lavish Dubai lifestyles and apparent encounters with celebrities including Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian.
But the image quickly began to unravel. There appeared to be little evidence of his businesses operating as described, while several of the celebrity photos were later alleged to have been created using AI.
Being banned from leaving Dubai
After meeting and marrying her new husband in Dubai, it came time for Katie to fly home to the UK – however her husband was unable to join her.
This was due to the fact that he’d allegedly served time in Dubai’s Al Awir central prison for suspected fraud, for allegedly taking out a £200,000 mortgage in his ex-girlfriend’s name without her knowledge.
The UAW bans people facing criminal investigations from leaving the country, however Lee denied he was unable to return to the UK and said there must be some ‘wrong details’.
However, Katie later confirmed he was subjected to a ban, but didn’t clarify why.
Being jailed – and reportedly arrested again – in Dubai
Shortly after Katie returned to the UK, Lee remained in Dubai while dealing with financial issues.
Last month, it was reported he had spent four weeks in Dubai’s Al Awir prison over outstanding debts before being released.
On July 11, he was arrested again after allegedly attempting to raise around £120,000 he believed he owed.
According to The Sun, Lee sent a message to a friend saying: ‘They’ve arrested me. Katie might need to bail me out. We need to make a noise with a Go Fund Me.’
A spokesperson for Lahbab Police Station told the newspaper they had no record of Andrews being there, while Katie’s representative declined to comment.
Teasing a fake pregnancy
Just a few weeks into their relationship, both Katie and Lee teased they were expecting a baby. After Katie declared she was ‘having his child’ Lee wrote they were a ‘perfect couple soon to be triple’.
At one point, the mum of five even urged her followers to pay £2.99 to find out the results of a pregnancy test.
Despite the attempts to generate publicity, she then confirmed she was not pregnant.
Scamming a string of women
Days after Katie and Lee tied the knot, two of his exes accused him of being a ‘liar, narcissist and manipulator’.
Months later, it was then reported he’d been begging women for money weeks before he married Katie.
His ex Alana, then shared a post on Instagram calling him the ‘Tinder Swindler’ and claimed multiple women had contacted her saying he’d tried to scam them out of money too.
She later went on a podcast to share more details of her relationship with Lee, claiming ‘I genuinely thought that potentially he could have killed me.’
Faking a kidnapping
After Lee failed to return to the UK, Katie revealed she had concerns he’d been kidnapped and then reported him as a missing person.
He was later found to be in prison in Dubai. Following his release, he returned to social media with an extraordinary account of events, claiming he he had been ‘kidnapped at gunpoint’, ‘slapped around’ and falsely accused of espionage.
Dubai authorities have disputed suggestions he was detained over spying allegations, previously describing the matter as a private civil dispute.
Court documents later revealed two outstanding legal cases against Lee, including an alleged £54,000 debt linked to a rental car company and a separate claim for approximately £15,000 in unpaid legal fees.
Lee also defended his wealth and claimed Katie was looking at the wrong account when she believed she had seen evidence of a dire financial situation.
‘So there’s been no wool pulled over anyone’s eyes and that should be between husband and wife,’ he said, while claiming he is ‘due out of jail very soon’.
‘Just to reiterate, I do have the funds in the wallet, she can have my wallet address and I can do any movement in there. I’ll even send the hosts £1,000 or £10,000 or whatever they want to show the people that it’s mine,’ he added.
‘I’ve got no issues on that, and I earned this consistently through trading and having money in the game.
‘I’ve been in the UAE 20 years and obviously earnt quite a good sum of money and built relationships. Anyway, I will be out, and you can keep checking the wallet and you’ll see that there is the funds and it’s just $50million USDT and now the country knows.’

Lee also claimed he would be in the UK soon and offered to take a lie detector test.
Meanwhile, Katie said she had been ‘stupid to fall for him’ but denied it was anything to do with his wealth.
‘I’ve never been with a man with money. With me, it’s never about going with a man with money. I’m self-made, and I have my own money,’ she told presenters Susanna Reid and Ed Balls.
‘He hasn’t scammed me for money, but I feel he has scammed me, because he fabricated a person that doesn’t exist.’
