Lee Andrews has not yet run out of ideas for how to repay the debts he owes, it seems.
According to new reports, the so-called multi-millionaire businessman was considering selling a sex tape of himself and his wife, Katie Price, 48, to get himself out of jail.
It’s believed that Lee was arrested for the second time in a matter of weeks last Friday, allegedly for owing £120,000.
A friend of Lee’s said at the time that he suggested Katie might need to ‘bail [him] out’ or ‘make a noise with a GoFundMe’.
Katie, of course, stood by her man, whom she married in January after days of knowing him, when he spent four weeks in Dubai’s Al Awir prison over separate financial matters.
While she refused to pay the six-figure sum required for his release and insisted she would question him when they were reunited before walking away if she didn’t like his answers, Katie still supported Lee, much to the dismay of his exes, who warned her about his alleged scams.
Second time around, however, she’s staying silent – but if her sex tape ends up online, she’ll likely have something to say.
As reported by The Sun, Lee is said to have told a pal that the explicit footage could be flogged for ‘a pretty penny’, thus securing his freedom once more.
In a message sent earlier this month, before he was detained on fraud allegations, Lee reportedly said: ‘I need to get cash quickly.
‘I’ve got some things to trade. I’m trying to sort out my OnlyFans.’
He added: ‘I could always release my sex tape with my wife, but it might go for a pretty penny. Yeah, there is a short one of that, but that’s between you and me.
‘So see if a newspaper will pay for that — quarter of a million f***ing quid…’
The publication claims that Lee was then warned that it would be illegal to sell the content, since it is a criminal offence to share or threaten to share private, sexual photos or videos of someone without their permission (this is called intimate image abuse or revenge porn and can carry a prison sentence).
After this, he backtracked: ‘I was not serious on that, mate. We have OnlyFans, we will do our thing on this.’
Still, Katie’s family reportedly sees Lee’s latest scheme as the ‘last straw’, desperate for their relationship to end and for her to ‘see sense’.
‘They’ve been worried sick about her ever since she met Lee, and the longer she is with him, the more they fear for her well-being,’ said one insider.
‘Lee is prepared to stoop to the lowest low. It’s terrible and alarming.
‘The last thing she needs is to be with someone who will use her for money. It’s appalling.’
They added that Katie’s loved ones are relieved Lee ‘can’t get into her head’ while he’s behind bars, noting that he will ‘do anything’ to become debt-free.
‘His antics have driven everyone to the brink; they just don’t know what he might do or say next.
‘Katie is at her wits’ end with the saga; the drama seems to be never-ending.’
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Katie told The Sun that no such sex tape exists.
The ex-glamour model, formerly known as Jordan, does do OnlyFans, though, as Lee mentioned, having joined the adult content subscription platform in 2022 when encouraged by friend Kerry Katona, who says the site has made her a millionaire.
Katie previously said her NSFW content makes her between £50k and £80k a month, but there’s one thing she has refused to do.
Appearing on Olivia Attwood’s Getting Filthy Rich series recently, she admitted that ‘the numbers are stupid’.
‘I was like, “I’m not getting my bits out”,’ she told Olivia. ‘But you don’t have to do all that. If I go nude, then I’m like that,’ she added, covering her chest. ‘So you don’t actually see anything.’
She explained that her decision was influenced by her children, Junior, 21, and Princess, 19, because it wouldn’t be ‘fair’ on them if people they know were to see the naked pics.
‘If I did content every day, it’s ridiculous money, but I’m so lazy with it… I’m not greedy either – I’ve had the Ferrari; I’ve had everything,’ Katie also said.
Hubby Lee joined OnlyFans, too, in April, and it’s one of the side hustles he’s used to try and pay off what he owes, the other being Cameo, where he charges fans for personalised video messages, not of the sexual kind.
Still, in prison he remains, and it’s been claimed that he’s even bumped into a familiar face there – his own dad.
Yesterday, The Sun printed that Lee’s father, Peter, is also facing fraud allegations after being ‘reported by a third party’.
Katie has not addressed the latest twist in the legal drama, nor has she revealed whether she’ll be jetting back to Dubai to visit Lee.
What she has addressed, though, is the arrangements for their £2,000 dog, which they purchased mere weeks ago, sparking outrage online given Katie’s track record with pet ownership.
Taking to her Instagram Story shortly after Lee’s arrest, Katie reposted a message to confirm that the pomsky was living with her friend in the UAE and would be travelling to the UK within days.
But confusion ensued when Lee’s ex, Dina Taji, whom Katie has met, said the pup had been ‘abandoned’ and she had to ‘rescue’ him, taking him to her shelter.
She claimed he had been left with a pet-sitter, and while she didn’t name Lee explicitly, Dina declared that she needed to ‘save this dog now [that] this person [the owner] is in jail’.
