Kerry Katona has shared details of an awkward interaction with ex-husband Brian McFadden’s wife at the time, Vogue Williams.
Atomic Kitten singer Kerry, 45, and Westlife star Brian, 45, were in a relationship for three years before tying the knot in 2002.
However, they split two years later, after Kerry learned that he had cheated on her during his stag do.
Brian subsequently married presenter and model Vogue, 40, in 2012, in a union she later described as a ‘mistake.’
The pair finalised their divorce in 2017, and Brian went on to meet and marry PE teacher and former athlete Danielle Parkinson.

With Vogue entering the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Jungle this week, Kerry has taken the time to reflect on her previous run-in with her ex’s ex.
In her column for OK! Kerry said: ‘So, my ex-husband Brian McFadden’s ex-wife Vogue Williams has gone into the jungle.
‘How funny is that?! I do think she’ll do well, but I don’t know her personally.’
She then recalled a time she and Vogue crossed paths – albeit from afar – when Brian picked up their children, Molly Marie and Lilly Sue.
Kerry said: ‘I remember her waving at me from the car when Brian picked up the kids, she never made any particular effort to come and say hi to me – which I think is important as a stepmum.’
Noting that she never really ‘met’ Vogue, Kerry wished her all the best in the jungle.
‘I’m not bothered if she talks about Brian round the campfire – we were together twenty years ago, it’s old news,’ she added.
Kerry and Brian welcomed their first daughter together, Molly Marie, in August 2001.
Their second, Lilly Sue, was born nearly a year after their wedding in Ireland, on February 3, 2003.
The pop power couple divorced in 2004, after Kerry learned that he’d cheated on her during his stag do.
‘I only found out after we got married,’ Kerry explained on Paul Brunson’s We Need to Talk podcast.
She continued: ‘The girl he had cheated on me with was a lap dancer and he had made her sign an NDA and paid her 15 grand to keep her mouth shut. But she still told the papers anyway.
‘It was never the same after that with me and Brian.’
After Kerry and Brian split, she went on to marry taxi driver Mark Croft in 2007, with the pair having two children – Heidi and Max – together.
Three years after their 2011 divorce, Kerrymarried former rugby league player George Kay, with whom she had her fifth child, DJ.
In 2015, she announced that they’d separated after he allegedly assaulted her. Kay died in 2019, following an overdose.
She is currently in a relationship with her boyfriend, Paolo Margaglione, whom she met on the reality show Celebs Go Dating.
As for Brian, he began dating Australian singer Delta Goodrem soon after his split from Kerry. They became engaged but split in 2011.
Following his three-year marriage to Vogue, Brian met current wife Danielle in 2016, with whom he shares daughter Ruby.
Meanwhile, Vogue married Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews in 2018, after meeting on the reality TV show The Jump.
They share three children together – six-year-old Theodore, Gigi, four, and Otto, two.
Before entering the I’m A Celebrity jungle, Vogue addressed rumours of marital discord on her My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, which she hosts with comedian Joanne McNally.
With Spencer’s latest project clashing with her time in the jungle, it seems as though he won’t be there to greet her when the time might come for her to cross the famous bridge.
As such, this has led some to wonder whether there might be a rift in their marriage.
Addressing rumours, Vogue said: ‘It said, “Spencer and Vogue are headed for a breakup because they’re spending so much time apart.”
Venting her frustration, she added: ‘But I’m like, can we not spend, like, any time apart? Do we have to be sewn together now to show that we’re a united front.’
With Vogue now fully embedded in the camp, Spencer has shared how much he misses his missus, saying how he’s ‘counting down the days’ until her return.
Taking to Instagram with an emotional tribute to his wife, Spencer wrote: ‘It’s wild how much you can miss someone you’ve spoken to every single day for years.
‘This is the longest we’ve gone without talking since we’ve been married, and I feel it more than I ever expected.’
He continued: ‘When things get dark and rough for me in this challenge, I think about how incredible our reunion will feel in a couple of weeks and how amazing it will be to hold you and to be back together as a family.
‘You don’t realise how much someone fills your world until the silence kicks in… I can’t wait for the end of year we have planned!!
‘So proud of you my beautiful darling. I’m watching you in there and as expected, you’re smashing it, as usual. Counting down the days.’
