<p id=”par-1_110″>Kid Cudi has moved on from the drama that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs brought to his life during his brief romance with Cassie Ventura. While he did have to revisit all that happened during<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/tag/celebrity-scandals/?swcfpc=1″> Diddy’s sex trafficking and racketeering trial</a>, Cudi doesn’t hold any ill will towards Ventura. However, he did admit to <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kanye-west-slams-kid-cudi-for-testifying-against-diddy-asks-for-prayers-for-the-disgraced-music-mogul.html/”>hating “every second” of testifying. </a>The rapper recently sat down for a few interviews and revealed that he was thrilled to see his ex thriving after everything she had been through. He said it was especially nice to see her marry and build a family. Cudi is doing the same and promoting his memoir, <em>Cudi: The Memoir.</em> </p>

<p id=”par-3_99″>Last week, Kid Cudi appeared on <em><a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92zYQNqffN8″>Call Her Daddy</a>. </em>His chat with Alex Cooper focused a lot on <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kid-cudi-explains-not-wear-suit-diddys-trial.html/”>his testimony against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs</a>. The rapper admitted to hating every second of the legal event. He also said he refused multiple times before being subpoenaed. After appearing on the podcast, he sat down for an interview on <a href=”https://www.today.com/video/kid-cudi-talks-candid-new-memoir-new-music-ex-cassie-ventura-244974661945″>Today with Jenna & Friends.</a><em> </em>As was expected, his new marriage and his past romance were talking points. Cudi opened up a bit more about Cassie Ventura and how he feels about the musical artist many years after their short-lived romance ended.</p>

Cudi also discussed Venture starting a family, admitting it brought a tear to his eyes when she began welcoming children with her husband. He said, “It was just so emotional for me to just see her kind of thrive and find her happiness and peace. And it’s just a really beautiful thing.”</p>

<p id=”par-5_69″>Cassie Ventura and Kid Cudi both testified at Diddy’s trial all while they had a lot of other things going on. Ventura was pregnant with her third child. <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/cassie-ventura-admitted-to-a-labor-and-delivery-unit-at-a-new-york-hospital.html/”>She welcomed her first son</a> with Alex Fine before the trial ended. Ventura has gone quiet on Instagram since welcoming her son. She was never a particularly prolific poster to begin with, but the silence, after Diddy’s surprise verdict, feels telling.</p>

In late June, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kid-cudi-is-officially-married-weds-lola-abecassis-sartore-in-the-south-of-france.html/”>Cudi married Lola Abecassis Sartore,</a> a fashion designer. The duo tied the knot in the south of France. They announced their engagement in April. The “Day ‘n’ Nite” artist might be planning to expand his family, too. In 2022, he told <a href=”https://www.esquire.com/entertainment/a40895903/kid-cudi-entergalactic-reborn/”>Esquire</a> that he hoped to have more children. He has one daughter, Vada, from a previous relationship.</p>
