Kim Cattrall is one of the most endearing actresses thanks to her role in “Sex and the City.” However, despite her status as an icon, she has remained fairly private in more recent years and even elected not to appear in “And Just Like That” beyond a cameo. Recently, she was spotted publicly with her boyfriend, Russell Thomas.
According to Page Six, Cattrell and Thomas were seen on September 15 at the Dover in London. Notably, the private pair attended a Jimmy Choo dinner at the establishment. The “Sex and the City” actress sported a dark-colored turtle-neck dress and a pair of suede boots. She was also seen with a big smile fixed on her face.
Regarding Thomas, he wore a classic green corduroy suit, a blue shirt, and black shoes. He wrapped his arm around Cattrall in their shared photos. Of course, she also posed for solo pictures at the dinner and showed off a classy brown handbag.
Cattrall Has Been Dating Thomas for Almost a Decade
Cattrall has been in love several times throughout her life. Notably, the beloved actress has been married three times. Her longest of the three marriages was to Andre J. Lyson, as it lasted for seven years. She has also been open about not having children due to her career, but still considers herself to be a mother to young actors.
Cattrall began dating Thomas in 2016 after having met him at a radio station. She told The Times in 2025, “Weâve been together almost ten years now. And weâve had a blast. Weâve just had so much fun.”
She then reflected on feeling alone before meeting Thomas. According to her, “What I felt in spades was how alone I was. The questions that I was having in the small hours were: Do I deserve what I have? Why donât I deserve other things? Am I not worthy? Why am I alone? Will I be alone?”
She Has Created a Beautiful Life for Herself
While Cattrall decided against reprising her role as Samantha in “And Just Like That” in a full-time capacity, she remains active. Of course, she appeared in the short-lived Hulu series “How I Met Your Father,” but she’s also a part of a podcast series.
According to Hello Magazine, she signed on for the second season of the “Central Intelligence” podcast in 2025 for BBC Radio. She plays Eloise Page in the series. The podcast is set in the 1960s and explores “covert operations, political upheaval, and shifting global power.”
