Kylie Jenner has been labeled ‘tone deaf’ after featuring police in her latest advert for Kylie Cosmetics.

The beauty mogul, 28, has been sharing teasers for her newest products, paying homage to her ‘King Kylie’ range a decade prior when she launched her iconic Kylie lip kits.

In the latest promo, The Kardashians star can be seen being escorted through a jail by two men dressed as police officers while handcuffed.

Another image shows the model in black leather shorts and a cropped top sitting in front of a row of mirrors with lipstick marks on them, as if counting days.

Kylie also shared images leaning over a police car as if being arrested, wearing an outfit from the original 2015 King Kylie marketing campaign.

However, fans have taken to social media to criticise the star for using law enforcement for the campaign at a time when tensions are high in the US and ICE raids are never far from headlines.

In America, intensifying ICE raids targeting immigrants have sparked protests across the country.

ICE had been dubbed President Donald Trump’s personal rogue agency, with him stating during his campaign trail: ‘On day one, I will launch the largest deportation programme of criminals in the history of America.’

Some Democrats have called for the abolition of ICE due to its force under Trump’s presidency.

Speaking about Kylie’s latest marketing campaign, _clur_150 wrote on Reddit: ‘This family is so f*****g stupid. Her little clip of being escorted by police officers, confidently strutting through jail in handcuffs, heels, and underwear.

‘This family knows literally nothing about what the rest of the people in the country are doing or dealing with. This is not cute.’

Grey_BumbleBee said: ‘What is it with super rich people and glamourize being poor and in trouble with the law?? It’s so tone deaf.’

Many thought it was ‘disrespectful’ at a time when ‘people are disappearing’ due to ICE raids.

Others compared it to her sister Kendall’s controversial 2017 Pepsi advertisement, which faced backlash amid the Black Lives Matter movement.

Auntieup urged: ‘This whole family demonstrates their contempt for us in every single thing they do. What we need to do in response is stop photographing them, talking about them, and buying their s**t. IMMEDIATELY.’

Meanwhile, Lunehighwind asked: ‘What was the point of this concept anyway? It would have been bizarre and trashy 15 years ago too.’

Lucybubs said: ‘The country’s boiling over, citizens being dragged off by rogue badge-hungry rent-a-cops, and Kylie Jenner drops a handcuffed hot-pants photoshoot to promote COSMETICS. This isn’t satire; it’s American rot.’
