Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez are officially husband and wife. The couple tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in Venice. The same day, after the wedding nuptials, Sánchez updated her Instagram bio to reflect her new name: Lauren Sánchez Bezos.
She also posted a first look at her elegant wedding gown with the simple caption: â06/27/2025 â¤ï¸.â

When Lauren Sánchez walked down the aisle, she did so in a gown that reflected not only elegance but also her essence.
The bride wore a custom Dolce & Gabbana lace mermaid-style dress, complete with sheer long sleeves and a high neckline. Romantic and refined, the look was a meaningful departure from her signature bold style, yet felt completely authentic to who she is now.
She debuted the dress on the cover of Vogue and opened up in her interview about how the look marked a shift from her usual style: âIt is a departure from what people expect,â she said. âFrom what I expect â but itâs very much me.â
Sánchez admitted she anticipated Jeff might be surprised: âYes. I think he will be pleasantly surprised. I think heâs going to be so happy. I mean, itâs so elegant, itâs timeless.âDolce & Gabbana designer Stefano Gabbana told Vogue that Lauren wanted a look that reflected grace, not glitz: âShe didnât want to do something very flashy or bling bling.â
An Intimate Wedding Celebration
While the wedding brought global attention, Sánchez emphasized that the ceremony was deeply personal: âItâs extremely intimate,â she said, revealing that 70 of the 200 guests were family.
She also shared that she skipped many traditional customs, adding: âWe donât have a lot of traditions that weâre keeping. I mean, I love traditions, but for a 55-year-old woman, itâs a little different.â

âWell, Blue Origin. Itâs something from my space flight.âDuring the ceremony, Sánchez revealed that she had brought a secret souvenir from space to gift Bezos: âIt was literally one of the most profound experiences Iâve ever had in my life,â she told Vogue. âJeff said, âItâs gonna change you more than you think,â and it completely has â visually, spiritually.â
Lauren’s Children Played Special Roles
Lauren’s three children from her previous marriage to Patrick Whitesell played meaningful roles in the ceremony. Her two sons, Nikko and Evan, walked her down the aisle. Her daughter, Ella, served as her maid of honor and gave a reading during the ceremony. All three children wore custom Dolce & Gabbana outfits for the occasion.
